Awesome job everyone ❣🤗🎉6 -
The emus (outside our front door) say "Happy Canada Day .... see? You CAN still have fun while remaining socially responsible!" (they have considered masks mandatory for a while now ... in case eventually the humans have to, and parents with young children can point to them and say "See, they are too!")
DH and I very much enjoy being "the eccentric auld pair on the block" Mother's Day it was a bunch of construction paper tulips each (again, all while masked)
That's so cute. Love it.0 -

So glad to be back here again this month. June was about getting back to keeping track and accountable. For the fist time in the 2 1/2 years (off and on) I did not take a a pass day. I would see people do it... but lets face it for most of us the three pass days are hard enough. What I like about this challenge is it's there for you when you need it. If you meet your goals (although staying on makes more sense) or have other issues that you leave the challenge for a while you can always pop back in.
The motivation from the group is contagious...thanks!!
Being here helps us to focus on what we can change. I like that😉

They actually "live outside" all the time, next to our front door ... always plain-masked these days, but 'special event" additions (like the canada-day extras) are only there for a day or three ... and then some different construction-paper "theme-additon" for the next holiday. St. Patrick's Day Leprechaun hats, bunny-ear dilly-boppers over the Easter Long Weekend etc.3 -

Day 1! Yes x3
Took an hour long walk, some stretches before bed. Ate plenty of yummy healthy foods. Happy I didn't eat the pizza that everyone else had and instead made a super filling bowl full of nutritious things like tofu, lentils, green veggies & herbs, and tuna.
Also I highly recommend a protein smoothie made with greek yogurt, vanilla protein powder, cocoa powder, a banana, and almond milk. It's sooo tasty!6 -
Happy Canada Day to my friends up north!
So I am over my pitifully sad birthday, yesterday. Ordinarily I take this whole week off, celebrate my grandson’s birthday, my birthday, and my nation’s birthday. This includes concerts, a beach trip and staycation in my pool. COVID horked that all to pieces. Pool has a huge crack, so drained, and this virus cancelled everything else. It is what it is. 🤷♀️🤦🏼♀️
That being said? My Apple Watch challenge for the month of July is to walk 110.3 miles in 31 days. NO PROBLEM! Today I got 5.2 miles in. My new role at work is PAYING ME to do full body resistance workouts five days a week. No, it isn’t what I signed up for, but I’m getting used to it and loving it, anyway! 🥰❤️💜💗
Did 380 Minutes of full body workouts at work today, logged everything and came in under goal.
While I am so freaking sick of this virus, wearing a mask at work and going to the store, I know that, at some point? It’s going to go back to normal some day. 🤞🏼
CONGRATULATIONS 🎉🎊🎈 to all the June Winner’s Circle folks! ❤️7 -
Hugs to you, @juliemouse83! You did say that your birthday was on the 30th and it slipped past all of us!! Sorry the celebration wasn't up to par. Lookout June 30th, 2021...Julie has lost some celebration time and she needs to make up for it!!3
