    Mornin' BBB.

Mary, I kid you not, I deleted my comment about which head he might be thinking with before posting yesterday. LOL. Great minds think alike.

I wouldn't say the military was the best decision I ever made, but it was an extremely valuable experience that I mostly enjoyed.

Skip, I was thinking of your glorious pool and Miller Lites yesterday after being on a big azz John Deere tractor brush hogging a 5 acre field at my hunt club for 4 hours yesterday afternoon. Holy moly, it was hot on that machine.

Cool video, Dennis. Thanks for posting. Good reminder that it ain't all spit and polish in that uniform and rank.

Big for a French Brittany, but explains the legginess. Field Springers do tend to be a bit sturdier in build.

    Good morning

Nothing to report here in hot, sultry Indiana.

Pool time all weekend I’m hoping. No chance of rain in the forecast.
We will be smoking a pork shoulder tomorrow.

    Morning

Late start after late nights in pool. Lights and neighbors made for a long but enjoyable evening. Lee - come anytime.

    Mary too funny.

    Dennis - feel better.

Sun in forescast all weekend. I’m definitely in pool mode. Floating and sipping.

    Cheers for great weekend all!

    Good morning BBB crew.

I certainly remember The Ventures, never met the general. Very cool that he kept playing drums.

Great hike, through a quintessential old-growth Northwest forest, yesterday. Covered 19.2 miles, with 1,840 feet of climbing. The old guy still has legs.

I measured the big fir tree on the right, with a treking pole, and decided it was 11 or 12 feet in diameter. Big tree.

More cool and cloudy weather, today. Should be a little better over the weekend.

11-12 feet. Too bad no one to stand on the trail for perspective. Gorgeous scenery.

    Morning BBB

It is nice to be in a city again. The supermarket had so so many fresh vegetable choices. It was hard to not over buy. We went to REI yesterday and I finally got new shoes. Hopefully that will help with the foot pain.

Today we will see how long the line is at IKEA. Don't need to go desperately but have a few things I would like to have. And getting lunch from Perry's steakhouse. If you have one nearby I highly recommend the pork chop lunch.

    Off for our morning walk.

    Good morning.

Cecilia's been working me like a dog, but with no ear scritches. 😢
