Morning Men~
Steve - Ugh! I know you must be hot/sore prepping house. Hope you are happy with results.
I overdid it on the Vitamin D yesterday - feeling it today. Gotta drain off some water and refill. Its a VERY warm 91 degrees in water.
Sam - hope you feel better soon. We saw the carnage around the country this weekend. Chicago, DC, Seattle, Atlanta. I suspect alot of openings in senior ranks soon.
WITW is Doc Lee?
Cheers,

Good Morning!
Skip, KC is way up in killings this year. Didn't make your list that you see in DC? Skip, it is your "fault". I'm over the 50% mark in convincing Connie that we might need a pool next year instead of a garden. She is even thinking about in-ground, rather than above ground. We have not really researched that, or the costs yet.
I am getting very tired of the weather already. We have had above normal heat and humidity for several weeks now. It is hard to do much of anything outside. Even the evening walks with the dog are being shortened.
Month end grind all day today.
Have a great day!

Good morning gentlemen.
Some scattered showers around the area, this morning. The 10-day forecast shows every day below "normal" temperatures. Sigh. Better than 90s and humid, though.
Taking DW to fabric store, today (oh boy). She has been manufacturing face masks and needs better elastic for her ear loops. Signs of the times.

Mornin' gents.
Cooling off here, today anyway.
Local racoon pack causing mischief. Stole one of DW's clogs last night. Found it way out in middle of yard. Guess it could be foxes, but we actually saw a couple of trash pandas trying to get into bird feeder the day before.

Good Morning,
Steve, if we did not have a community pool here I would put one in. In ground can be done for about $20,000 on low end but have seen some $100,000 plus. If you can contract out each part will come out on low end. Decking and landscape is what really brings a pool up.
Taking DMIL to silver sneakers in a few minutes, will try and do a few weights
Yoga class this afternoon, two classes tomorrow
Varmints seems to be everywhere
Rainy again today then back into 90's and humid0 -
Good Morning
Another nice day ahead. I'm off for early grocery shopping. Nothing on the schedule except for a weekly conference call. Plenty of outdoor and indoor chores to do.
Be safe!0 -
Picked and ate two nice ripe tomatoes on Sunday. So tasty. Lettuce, carrots, snow and snap peas too. Yoga is still by zoom for me these days. Rode my first longer bike ride with 600+ feet of climbs yesterday and knee was doing pretty good. Seems that the tumeric is helping and of course time (it's been almost 4 weeks since I tweaked it).
Yeah Dave guys just love going with women folk to fabric stores.0 -
That's awful about Atlanta. Naive idealists think by wishing for a beautiful world where you don't even need policemen will make it so. Unfortunately there are still bad guys out there and cops help keep order.
Shopped yesterday afternoon (curb pickup at Walmart) and spent rest of day cleaning around my place. DB and SIL made it back from winter place in AZ to home in NH, safe and sound. Drive 3,000 miles with neurotic cat Dorothy in back seat.
Got together very early this morning with a friend, for the first time since March, and we hiked Mt. Wachusett together. Started at 6:30 and saw but a few other people. Wore masks the whole way except stopping for a snack, when we sat on rocks 15' apart. Cool 60º at first then warmed up to mid 70's. Four hours on the trails, 3 miles, lots of stopping for scenery. Near the end encountered a daycare or school group of 10 grammar school age kids--no masks but we kept away. Day care reopened here this week.
Sam, I liked your "rant" the other day. History is a lot more complicated than it first appears.0
