    Long day yesterday. Alarm didn't go off this morning (ugh)!

    Already feeling disheveled.

    PT later this morning - hoping for some pool time later today.

    I'm trying to bet the heat and get tending to my gardens early this morning.

    Nice to be home with 4 more days off.

    A little utility cart to pull with zero turn is on the list today. Pull some mulch around back, LOTS of mulch. Lol.

    A fun hike, yesterday - well, just about every hike is fun. Lucked out on the weather. There was a 35 percent chance of rain, but the sun came out, instead.

    Eye tests, this morning, up at the Army hospital. Have to do visual field tests, and have a variety of photos taken of the inside of my eyes, as a monitor on my glaucoma.

    Here is a photo of the small lakes I hiked to, yesterday. I probably posted the same view last year. It never gets old. Owyhigh Lakes.

    • Dave, I pulled up Owyhigh Lake Trail on Google Maps. Beautiful.
    • Quite an uproar in our area. DOT put out a plan to 4-lane our local highway and is asking for input. You would have thought the plan came from the Devil himself.
    • I saw this picture and it made me think of several of my BBB friends.

    We are camping and hiking our way across Colorado and Utah. On the way to Moab now. Staying in hotel near salt lake City tonight. Will check back and catch up later.

    Hot sun of a gun today. Yeesh. Picked up birds for training at 7 AM, drove an hour and trained dogs until noon, made a house call, had a meeting at rod and gun club 2:30-4 PM, now home catching up on voicemails and text messages. I need a day at work to recover from my day off.

    If I had a pool, that would happen, Dennis. Bears are out of control around here.
