There are many days in which team members post memorable personal posts that no one should miss. Here is one written by @Hulya_79
"My metabolism is so slow, I lose weight very hard. I generally lose 1.5-2 kg in a month if I watch my calories very strictly and stay active. Unfortunately, I am so focused on the scale and I can’t get over it. Many times, I gave up trying to lose weight since seeing new numbers were taking so much time. Today, I saw a new number on the scale that I haven’t see it for 12 years. If I wasn’t in the UAC I would give up again and not see this lowest number of 12 years. I know today’s topic is celebrating lost inches not only lost weight, but I am still happy with my new scale victory. Thanks to UAC!"19 -
That is inspiring!
Thanks, Hulya_795 -
Thank you @RangerRickL for keeping us motivated by organizing the UAC and posting a new topic every day!8

Loggin in now, as I will not be logging or keeping track of things today. It is my partner's birthday, so I will be making lasagna (meat for them, vegetarian for me!) and eating cake after. I have had it planned, so I feel no guilt for today, but I know I cannot slack like this any more.
Joined this group to get myself accountable again, and I have found I am slipping back into my lazy habits. Asnd obviously, those habits won't get me where I want to be!8 -

(see my comment to you re "Dollar Store Episode" yesterday .... recognizing and acknowledging habits that need changing is the point where change has a chance to begin.)3 -

Pass day today.
Exercise - yes. My usual 3 hours iof walking my dog.
Calories on budget and tracked. No.
The day started well, but then I bought a bag of crisps on impulse while doing the weekly shop - telling myself that my partner and I could enjoy them over the weekend. No.. it started with a 30g weighed portion with my lunch, but ended with me eating the whole bag. Urgh.my stomach and mouth feel like absolute garbage. The worst part is that I don't think I even enjoyed them!
Oh well.. that's definitely put me off eating them again for a long time.
It was a step backwards, but tomorrow I'll move forward again.7 -
Posting for yesterday and today ...
Yesterday - 3 yeses with my usual yoga and dog walking.
Today - pass day. No reason. Just felt a bit meh. But actually having had a little too much tonight it makes me realise how much better I feel when I don’t. So onward and upwards tomorrow!6 -
July 9 - PASS DAY (i have used 3 now - Grrrr)

I'm counting it as 3x yes.
I wasn't as active as I usually am - really busy work days - but I spent about an hour chasing my toddler around the play park and going down the slide and running after him pretending to be a monster. I'll count that7 -
Yesx3 day. 15 mins of stepping class and 15 mins Pilates. I used to be able to complete the 30 mins class but I just don’t seem to have the strength these days. I should work towards that. Thanks for sharing your personal successes. Very inspiring. Thanks for this forum Rick.5

I did my spin early this morning as the humidity and heat indexes were predicted to be high managed the pool at lunch a perk of working from home and then more pool after work so I guess I got my exercise. I tracked and stayed under and had plenty of water. My victory was the scale didn’t move!6

Day 9 - Yes x3
60 minute walk. some stretching. Another day of weird appetite thus slight undereating. Plenty of protein/carbs/fiber at least.7 -
Yes x3
14k steps.
I've been experimenting with plain Greek yogurt to make healthier snacks. I'll usually make extra to store in the fridge for easy access.
I enjoy mixing yogurt with a little citrus juice, salt and pepper, and sambal oelek for spice and using for dipping carrots and celery. Today I chopped up some basil from the balcony and added that.
Yesterday I combined plain Greek yogurt with a bit of peanut butter and a touch of honey and used it as an apple dip. It was delicious! Made it easier to dip and also diluted some of the high calorie content of the peanut butter. Will definitely try that again.

@UCGRocks and @Hulya_79 You are very welcome! My law firm administrator, Jessica, is the one who builds each month's discussion format. If not for Jessica, I would not be able to do what I do.
I appreciate both of you and everyone who participates.
@BMcC9 needs our thanks as well. She is an indispensable encourager.5 -

Thank you for the sweet messages yesterday for our anniversary 🥰
It made our day all the more special. After our lovely dinner in the backyard, we came in and looked at photos from past anniversaries on our phones together
We both agreed that all-in-all, it was much nicer celebrating at home than our usual eating out. Maybe a new tradition!!5 -
