Yesterday's posts included lots of "I've got 3 or more pass days."
That's okay...even though you are not in this month's Winner's Circle...keep on working on your healthy habits.
I'm out of the Circle for this month, but I'm still posting.
It's not over yet!

Thank you for all the messages. It's been a good day and I was greatly spoilt.
I started with a sunrise run and after work we went swimming in the ocean. Cake was eaten and food was not logged.13 -
Yes! 3x!
Exercise: 45 minutes walking.
Calories: Yes, stayed under.
Tracking: Yes, logged everything.
To me this challenge is not only about physical health and fitness. My mental health is closely related. If I am mentally in a state, I find it hard to stick to logging, keep my calories under budget and get out and exercise. However, it also works the other way round: if I can get myself out of here to exercise, I feel better, don't need to comfort eat or drink, can manage to log. If I can manage to log, I can stick to my budget calories, can manage to do the daily 20 minutes, feel better for it.
So, all I need to do is get one of the four right; the rest will follow. Funnily enough, the staying under calories is the least impactful of the four for me ...
Today I got out to go to my Book Club, 45 minutes walking. Felt good mentally and physically and logged, stayed under calories. Took my partner, who hadn't read the book, couldn't contribute to the discussion, but enjoyed being out and about with me, seeing other people. I was happy that he was happy.

Y'all, been covered up like crazy this past few days. Yes x 3 for Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and today (unless someone force feeds me an entire cake or something), as I am well under again today.

Happy birthday @Dory_42 - that sounds a fantastic day.
Yes, yes, yes. I completed the first run of week 4 in Couch to 5k, still not coming easily to me, but I'm hanging on in there.
Actually my new fitbit has updated to tell me I'm now 27 calories over my goal! I will be going out for a short walk until that's registering a deficit. No going to bed until the number turns green...9 -
Three yeses from me today.
Had a great day actually, I went into London for a medical screening test. We are entitled to them every other year at my work but it’s been four years since I last went as I kept putting it off until I was last the deadline last time - because I wanted to lose weight first and not be told off for being overweight. Anyway, I bit the bullet and went. She did a body fat monitor on me which said I’m 35% fat! Was surprised as I’m only a few pounds into the overweight range now but hey, it’s food for thought. After lots of tests etc I went for a gorgeous walk all across London from the City to Buckingham Palace, my legs are tired tonight but it was great to have some me time away from work / house / kids.
The City was a ghost town as that is the part of London which is all offices. Quite eerie to be so quiet on a Monday morning.
Hopefully have attached a couple of pics below.

Dear @readyornot1234, @BMcC9,
Thank you so much for the great feedback! I did the calculations, and I'm actually supposed to eat even less . I was shooting for 1350 + exercise calories and starving. Now I see my TDEE is 1490, so to lose 1/2 lb a week that puts me down closer to 1200, yikes! I'm gonna try your eating around the TDEE method, but less aggressive. Maybe shoot for 1/4 lb a week. I'm on my last 10 lbs. I'll tinker with the protein as you suggest too.
And Dear @MadisonMolly, thanks for letting me know that changing the daily goal is permissible. I thought it was set in stone at the beginning of the challenge. What a relief
Sincerely, Anya
And yes x 3 today, running/walking w dog4 -

Happy birthday Dory and Snowshoe! Always a pleasure to read all your posts. Super yesx3day except for the heatwave today. Went for a socially distanced morning walk for 45 mins with my friend; 15 min cardio boot camp and another 20 mins playing outside with my toddler. Used all my calories budget. 1 pass day left.4

@Anya_000
3500 cumulative calorie deficit for a true pound shed - (as opposed to up&down due to one high sodium meal or had a "under total calories day, but heavy late meal moving through the digestive tract" or high humidex weather causing water retention type false daily fluctuations that tend to even themselves out if you just stick with the program.)
divide by 7 for ~1 pound per week is 500 cals per day (sorry!)
if your TDEE is ~1490 ... assuming you took activity level into account properly ....
for 1/2 pound per week, only 250 cal deficit needed; or 1240 intake per day
for 1/4 pound per week, only 175 cal deficit needed; or 1315 intake per day
(or split the difference, and for 1/3 pound per week, ~ 1280 intake per day .... )
level of fullness you feel for the same number of calories / how long you keep feeling full is gonna be what makes the difference at this point so close to goal.
Starting the day with protein DOES keep me feeling full longer - as I am not often feeling hungry yet at ~8:30 am (and working from home) I have 2% greek yogurt with berries and coffee - often eggs&cheese for a late ~1:00 lunch (and sooo busy that I don't notice the time or get hungry in between)
Time to start thinking "this is pretty much how I intend to KEEP eating in order to maintain ..."

The weekend was a pass for me. But enjoyed some knee exercises and full body stretches. Back at it today and yes x 3.
Happy, happy birthday 🥳 to all who have celebrations this month! Also, sending positive vibes n encouragement to each of us as we navigate our lives n its various stressors🌈4 -
Thank you all for the birthday wishes I spent the day with my adult children and spouse we had a wonderful day spent it in the pool with good eats so needless to say a pass day I think it was my last one at that but that’s ok it only comes once a year !4

Walk and exercises. Not super hungry today.3 -
Happy Birthday @snowshoe072.
Well today was almost a pass day but I was determined not to let it be. I was snacking a lot today but still doing okay, I had banked some calories for dinner. Then I caved in to 2 peanut butter cookies. For a fleeting moment, I almost threw in the towel and gave in to the snack cravings. In the past this would have led to the rest of the day binging out of control. Well not today, I didn't want to use my last pass day. So I made myself do another round of climbing stairs (it took me an hour) and then finish up in the pool. I've been relaxing for an hour now and my face is still red... but I can say:
Yes, yes & yes
(And no cookies tomorrow.... I'm not going through this again!)8 -
Logged and Under? Yes.
Exercise? Yes, a 55 minute walk. I don't think I had walked in a week....I had a couple of days in there where I did some exercises videos instead, and probably three where I didn't exercise at all!! It felt GREAT to go for a walk again!!
I am all out of Pass Days...but I need to get serious again because the scales are not moving!! My primary goal is weight loss, and for me, walking is what is going to allow me to not feel deprived when I eat at a deficit. (More calories to work with!)3 -
@katiecan2019 Thanks for the photos of London. So deserted.
@Dory_42 and @snowshoe072 Happy birthday UACers!
