Happy Humping! As Sam would say.
I spray my outdoor clothes and gear with permethrin. I would say that if the Army still uses it, its effective, but maybe not the greatest safety endorsement.
Might get some rain today.
Bicycle seats and nether regions.

Morning~
We FINALLY got some rain overnight! Its about time.
Anxious to see some baseball tomorrow! Fans or no fans - it ain't summer without the crack of the bats.
Happy humping.
Off to see Ortho doc for 6 week follow up.
Cheers,

Good Morning!
I'm glad that baseball is going again. I'm more looking forward to football.
We have had several inches of rain over the last few days. Now it is back to dry and hot. The humidity levels have just been killer this year. Last evening, I thought about doing some work outside. It got down to 79 degrees. The dew point, however, was still 74. You start sweating almost immediately.
I filed my first COVID related federal tax forms with Emergency Sick Leave data on them. We recovered $45,000 in emergency sick leave expenses from the early days of the shut down at work. Next, I'm going to be working on getting our PPP (Paycheck Protection Program) loan forgiven. These new programs and new forms are a headache, but the cash from the government has allowed us to keep everyone on, and have a great summer. We would not have been able to do that without the PPP loan.
Have a great day!0 -
Good morning gentlemen.
The saddle discussion goes on. My brother, nephew and brother-in-law - all serious cyclists - have saddles that cost as much as my bike. DBIL was talking about a saddle, recently, that cost more than $600. But those guys ride bikes that costs thousands. I think my nephew - who has several bikes in his corral, spent around $13,000 for one bike. Of course, he drives a new Porsche 911, too, so his budget is on an entirely different level than most of us.
Still itching from all my mosquito bites. Using benadryl ointment, but it doesn't help, much. This too shall pass.0 -
Mornin'
Biked again 90 minutes yesterday, even though it was 80º the humidity was low and the trail mostly shady, so it was not so bad. Old rail trail through a nice river valley. No houses or roads till the end.

Good Morning
Something to consider Mike, when I am able to ride again. I watched a video on it. Back is still to balky to try a bike.
Yesterday got a little crazy when I thought I had missed my wife's car appointment. I hadn't it was the next day but he took the car anyway. I walked for 30 minutes home, but the second walk to pick up the car was rough on the back. A hot shower and stretching and my workout calmed it down a bit. So today I will see how slow I can do housework. Beef Stew going in the slow cooker and I will attempt some rolls, now that I have a new mixing bowl for the stand mixer and I have the mixer adjusted properly.

Afternoon,
Have not posted for several days, been busy painting bath and bedroom; taking off today will get back at it tomorrow after cardiologist appointment. Two yoga classes today.
My thermometer came in so checking everyone before allowing them in room.
Sounds overall as most are doing better except for working stiffs being very busy; us retirees paid our dues and we appreciate your contributing toward our retirement; though if total FICA had been invested instead of taken and used by congress for other items we could possibly have higher income now. I understand reason for social security because most want instant gratification instead of having monies set aside, though I would hate to have to live on just social security.0
