Good morning BBB crew.
Camping is next week, Lee.
Happy birthday Cecilia!
Glad all turned out well, Lisa.
Struggling with back spasms this morning, and seasonal allergies continue (my allergy season runs from March to October, I think). Even retired, this has all the markings of a Monday.0 -
Morning BBB
Lisa glad you and family are OK. I know the odds aren't in our (meanjng BBB) favor for getting it but wishing you all continuef good health.
We went for a 10 mile bike ride yesterday through the neighborhood. There were a few hills and I am rusty but was able to make it up all of them. Should go again today.

Good news for Lisa and company!
So my neighborhood buddies, my 2 littles, as I refer to them, have invited Mr. Tom and I over for tacos tonite, social dist. on the patio of course, to finally meet their maternal grandparents whom have heard so much about Mr. Tom and Miss Mary. They are here for a visit. Did I mention they live about 20 minutes south in the town near our vacation lake hood? Small big world right? I'm making/bringing cowboy salsa and chips.
Happy Birthday Cecilia!!! A big TX birthday burrito, huh?! Im thinking she'd much rather have her moving truck show up today!!!
WTG Steph on the bike climb!
Dave, you and Rita camping by tent or camper, cabin or? With the kids/grand kids too?
No glamping for us until 8/15. DD's bridal shower is next Sunday. Looks like the 10/2 wedding is still in full swing. I best find a dress. and a mask to match ???
Cloudy and cooler here today, a drab Monday for sure. Hope it stays dry for our patio meet up later.
Have a good day BBB!0 -
LOL. To me, it isn't camping if it isn't in a tent. RVing is a completely different experience. We have a big campsite at Cape Disappointment State Park reserved for next Monday and Tuesday nights. DS and DDIL and the DGKs will be there, too. Plenty of room for our old Coleman tent and their big REI tent. I generally tie a tarp over the picnic table, too. That's luxury for us. Site is about 200 feet from the beach, but in a stand of shore pine, so it is sheltered from the wind.1

Totally Dave, I agree.. hence the word " glamping "
