Took day off to celebrate my DGodSon 5th birthday! Invited him and his Dad (my best friend from High School) over for some pool time and celebration. Hoping the weather holds off!

LMAO "candle in a salmon fillet."

Got to talk with a student last night who earned a Silver Star. If you want the hair on the back of your neck to stand on end - read this:

    Cheers for a great day!

    Mornin' BBB.

Power out from wind downed trees and power poles since yesterday afternoon. Clinic is still out too, and we have never been without power at the clinic for more than an hour because we are on the same line as the human hospital just down the road.

    Today is gonna be interesting.

Well earned Silver Star, if you ask me. Sargent First Class Clouse, thank you for your outstanding service.

    BBB OP ;-)

    Good morning.

The truck is allegedly showing up between 10 and 12 today. So you know what that means... r3xdh7sq2wrb.jpeg

Hope the moving goes well...and the unpacking.

Have fun Skip. Sure the 5yo will have a blast svsm if it is windy and cool.

The house we are at gets real newspapers. :) I miss reading the paper.

    Good morning BBB crew.

Glad the truck is finally showing up, Lou. Any bets on whether it arrives on time?

I've known a lot of Army Green Berets. They are all intelligent, thoughtful and dedicated - with gigantic stones (and apologies to our first female Green Beret, who, I am sure, has the same qualities). SFC Clouse, the old SGM salutes you.

    Good morning BBB friends.
    • Quite a citation to accompany the award. The next time you talk to Jonathan tell him I said thanks.
    • Glad the mooving truck is finally going to make it Lou. Lets hope everything is in good shape.
    • I'm with Sam, I could use some chilly.
    • Oh, Dr. said DW is doing great. Surprised she actually follows instructions. He says that is quite rare.
    • Lee, I read where Isaias power outages are the second-largest in Con Ed's history, behind only Sandy.

    Good Morning BBB

Thanks for the reality check Skip, and thank you to your Silver Star student, and the so many others I read about on the site you linked. God Bless those that serve and served.

    Happy unpacking Lou and dw!

Glad your dw is a good patient Dennis !

    Enjoy the pool party Skip

    Cooler here too today!

Counted last night for 6 hours. People are a trip. Im overall enjoying this little sidehustle. Many still are logged as not answering door. I am gettting to see many areas of our town I had no idea about. Some pretty amazing, others not so much LOL.

Hope your power comes back on soon, Lee!

Enjoy the crossword puzzle in the hard newspaper Steph! Thats the life, the paper poolside, for pay - how about that for retirement!!! yay you!

Im enjoying a Georgia peach right now, I think its from GA anyway! Its delish either way!

    Have a great day BBB

    Busy day tomorrow,
leading Pilates class in morning, then getting DW's vehicle serviced
and finally someone with some sense called from Census and ask when I could come in so will go in tomorrow afternoon; also not requiring all junk I had already provided
