Hoping for a slow(er); easy day! My boss is still on vacation through next Wednesday! I am looking forward to handing him the keys and saying "its all yours!!"

Good Morning!
I have all of the tile dry fitted now, and ready to glue down. It is difficult to work all day, then try to get a bunch done at night. Nearing the finish line now. I will glue it tomorrow morning, then grout on Sunday morning, then I can seat the toilet on Monday.
I'm kinda like Skip today. The boss is out of the office. Skip, I'm glad to hear that you are making progress with your healing! That's awesome!

Motion sensor that sets off a dog barking recording. That or the sound of a pump shotgun clambering a round would probably deter those scoundrels riffling through your vehicle.

I am taking it easy today. I was up late last night baking a couple of dozen muffins for DW to take in bright and early this morning to a staff workday at the pre-school. More than a bit sore today.

Lee, that seems a long time for them to get the power back on. Only had that once, in ‘08, when huge ice storm demolished every tree and wire for tens of miles around. Was 5 days till lights came on.
Chain came yesterday and got it installed last night. Took bike out this morning, 6 miles on rougher and hillier dirt roads. Gradually working up distance and difficulty. Thinking if I bicycle and hike often and hard enough I might actually loose weight.
What if you put your cat in the truck overnight? She’s not afraid of the dog, so thieves should be a cinch.

Now a member of Bureau of Census, per ID card just till August 30, 2020, still have 16 more hours of training per checklist.
Continues HOT & HUMID, received another inch of rain yesterday in a very few minutes. Bob please send chill this way.
Got DW's vehicle serviced yesterday, a little over 2 hours to get oil changed and tires rotated with an appointment. Will get mine done one day next week, will have to pay but bet it takes less than 30 minutes where I take it.
Believe DD and DGS coming out tomorrow to see us before DGS goes back to nursery school. Other two DGK's started back to school yesterday.
Our county went up 50 covid cases last week. Now sitting at 236 confirmed cases fortunately no deaths.
