Cooled off here a bit. Not supposed to go above 80 degrees today. Humidity has dropped as well.
How is the energy level, Steve? Back on your treadmill yet? I tried a treadmill while staying at a Best Western last week. It was a nice change from the stationary bike.
Sam, good to see you are feeling better. BP back to normal?
Bill, that is hot.

Very cool here this morning, and only mid-70s later, love this kind of weather. 100's are hide in the basement weather for me.
I made it out early yesterday for a nice bike ride, although I got my turns confused (got lost in the woods) and went 10 miles instead of the 8 I'd planned. Building a little work stand for me bike from PVC pipe.
That payroll holiday is so ridiculous I wonder if it was a ploy to get congress to do something, anything, other than bicker.
Sam, thanks for the diet tips. Will look further into Atkins.

Good morning gentlemen.
We will be around 90, in Tumwater, today. But the humidity will be around 28. Tomorrow the temp is forecast to get to 98. With that said, we "normally" have about 10 days a summer with highs of at least 90. This will make four. We have had a very cool summer.
Going over to DS' house at noon, to celebrate DGD's birthday. We will be gathering (including all four grand parents and an aunt) with social distancing in the backyard.0 -
Good Morning!
We are supposed to be getting a cold front coming in this morning that will maybe bring rain, but will also bring cooler temps for the next week. Awesome!
I walked on the treadmill for the first time in four days this morning. I finished up a hiking series that I was doing along the Chilkoot trail in Alaska & British Columbia. It was a great little series.
Household chores this morning, and then working some more on the bathroom. I still have to clean the old caulk on the tub, and put in new caulk. I also have to stain, cut, and install the baseboards.
This evening, Connie and I are going to eat AT our favorite Chinese restaurant. She does not want to eat IN a restaurant. Also, taking the food 1/2 hour home, it loses some of its flavor. What we have come to enjoy doing is getting the food, and then eating it in the car. At first it was weird, but now we enjoy it. We talk, maybe listen to some music, and just enjoy the experience.
Have a great day!0 -
Good Morning
Enjoy the BD party Dave!
"Cooling off" today to 105, but our summers bring very low humidity which contributes to our fire season. I went for a walk yesterday for the first time in 2 weeks. I managed 20 minutes till the back was beginning to feel and had to be iced. I am about to head out now since it is already 70 at 6:30.
We also are enjoying picking up food and picnicking in the car our on a bench somewhere depending on the temps. Tomorrow we head to Botanical Gardens in Berkeley. We were discussing different places we can go for lunch before our 2:00 reservation at the Gardens. The last time we were in Berekely it was Vegan Pizza at a cooperatively owned Bakery/Pizzeria. It was pretty good. We ate it up in the hills overlooking the bay.
Stay safe!0
