    Mornin' BBB.

Sam, I was a reservist and did not accumulate 2 years of active duty. In retrospect, active duty may have been a good way to go for so many reasons.

What was that you said, eh?

    Good morning

I'm surprised that united health insurance pays as much as they do on plan for both my audiology and digital aids. I can hear you breathe now.

It cooled down with a storm during the nite into 60s. Warm up Sat Sun for boating.

Why am I awake so early in again, it was after midnight when we had lights out.

New place up here opened just last week, health dept. already reporting someone in there on Sunday had the crud. This is why even here we still are socially staying distant, eating at glamper home, etc. Tonight its beef or turkey burgers on grill. Cowboy Xavier, chip. A salad, Brownies. Watermelon.

    Have a good one !

    Good morning BBB crew.

I had the same question on the Cowboy Xavier.

Going to be in the 90s, here, this weekend, though the humidity will be below 30. High fire danger. That level of heat is a problem for many, up here, as less than a third of homes have AC. The good thing is that it cools off at night - normally into the low 50s, sometimes into the 40s.

With the talk of summer heat, I have a question for you - just out of curiosity. Where do you set your thermostat in the summer and winter? We are at 76 in the summer and 69 in the winter (used to be 66 in winter, but we have wimped out the last couple of years). We have neighbors who have the AC set cooler than they do the furnace in winter. That makes no sense, to me.

    Morning

Late night. Winery (outside) with friends then to shoot darts and watch hockey at pals.

Cloudy today. But still expecting some pool time.

Summer: 69 upstairs. Main level (DMIL) is 71. Winter 73 down stairs/69 upstairs.

    Detailing a truck?

    Stay cool Lou.

    Morning BBB

At the house we had the thermostat at 68 winter and summer but was programmable so would get to 60 overnight and while at work and 78 off peak in summer.

The cowboy Xavier I make has corn, black beans and a can of Rotel. I like it hot and cold.

Last full day in Texas. Forcasted to be 108. Heading out for a bike ride soon.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Steph, I imagine you'll be happy to get out of Dodge or DFW with those temps.
    • Our thermostat is set at 78 or 79 in the summer and 68 or 69 in the winter. Dress appropriately.
    • This is the last weekend for Sturgis. Just sayin'.

Chop small, so to scoop with tortilla chips:
1 each Red, yellow or orange , green bell peppers, or all 4 if you want a lot.
    1 jalapeño
    1 Red onion small
    1 med Tomato
1 Can drained Bicolor corn or cut off cobs
    1 can rinsed black beans
    1 avocado (chopped, cubed small)

1 Packet dry seven seas Italian dressing ( I use Aldis) made to directions on back, and added to above, stir and refrigerator ar least couple hours.

This is great even on a bead of lettuce with a cold cut up pc of cooked chicken breast....

I like it to for glamping, boating because it doesn't have the dairy, mayo, sour cream
    a. Fat calories and b.spoil factor in warm sun...
