    Good morning gentlemen.

Forecast is for the hottest day of the year, today: 98 in Tumwater. Really low humidity, though; the classic dry heat. I might try to work in the shop, if it doesn't feel too hot.

Had a nice visit with DDIL's parents, yesterday - outside and maintaining appropriate distance. Hadn't seen them in five months. We enjoy their company - have taken a couple trips to Vegas with them in the past.

    Good Morning

Record heat continues for us down here along with fire alert. It is 80 at 5AM. A dry Thunderstorm just rumbled through. Hopefully, no fires from the lightning strikes. We will head over to Berekely after streaming the church to pick up lunch and find a place to eat in the hills before heading over to the Botanical Gardens there which is open on a limited basis. We have a 2:00 reservation. It should in the 80's over there. We will see how I hold up if we take it slow. Its about 30 minutes which is a long drive for my back to endure.

    Good Morning!

Lee, awesome tomato. Ours are about finished. This was a rough summer on them.

Bill, Connie and I enjoyed our dinner in the car last night. The food is hot, and better than trying to drive it home. Also at home there are distractions. We took some of our own dishes, and it was nicer than just the take out containers. When we got home, Connie ordered a nice picnic set. Next time we do this, weather permitting, we will take chairs, and a picnic basket, and enjoy eating a nice meal, and not having to worry about if the table was properly cleaned, etc.

Grocery shopping today, and a haircut. I have an exciting day on tap. Once those are completed, I plan to work more on the bathroom. The tub/shower is ready to caulk, and I need to start working on the floor trim. Finish line in sight!

I started a new hiking series today at Lake Tahoe. Wow! So pretty!

    Have a great day!
