    Mornin' BBB.

Prayers for your Glamping neighbor, Mary. 48 yrs old and had a stroke! What were his symptoms? Is he a high risk individual? Genetically prone or lifestyle or both? He should thank God Almighty he had you there to convince him to go and take him to the ER.

BLT was a good, but bread was not great. Artisanal sourdough loaf I purchased specifically for this sandwich was less than stellar. The tomato was definitely the star of the show.

How long had the pastor been with that congregation, Dennis? Retiring or moving to another church?

    BBB OP ;-)

    Good Morning BBB
We are heading up north for work later this week and will be gone about 10 days. Will hurricane proof the outside before we go.
Lee - A good BLT is my favorite sandwich. Sorry about the bread.
    Do good out there everyone.

    Good morning.

Busy weekend filled with painting, shopping and a bit of lazing by the pool. I was unplugged from things pretty much all weekend.

Almost looking forward to working today so I can relax. Almost.

Glad you could be there for your neighbor.

We left Texas over an hour later than planned (started the dishwasher way later then we should have plus played with the dug in the pool for a long time as it was overcast so not too hot).

Made it to Tulsa about 9:30. Drove right between two thunderstorms. A few miles of super high winds and rain but thankfully missed the worst if it.

    Good morning BBB crew.

Hope the neighbor in hospital is doing OK. Too many die because they refuse to get timely help.

I drove through Tulsa on my way to and from Norman, years ago. My memory was of a city that smelled mile fresh asphalt. I guess you could get used to it.

Record heat, yesterday (99), will cool a bit, today (90). We'll do our walk early.

We have three plants with green tomatoes on the, Not showing a bit of color, yet. Despite the current heat, we have had a very cool summer. We are getting buried under strawberries, though. I baked shortcake for dessert, last night. We'll have more, tonight, and Rita is freezing berries for future pies and smoothies.

Say hello to Tulsa for me, Steph. I miss her. Too bad it will be in August though. That is when you want to be on the lake (Keystone).

Raine, I just used mayo last night, but my fave spread is guacamole on me BLT. Often, I toast the Joseph flax pitas brushed with a wee bit of EVO for bread (would have been better than the bread l used last night). You can really stack some tomato in between two pitas.

    Morning BBB

Haven't heard from our friend yet this morning, I'm sure he had a long night with drive to other hospital and likely tests with neurologist this a.m. SO is driving back here to get me and his dog after work. I will deliver the dog to my ds2 and dgf, they will foster her until he can take her back.

Lee, he's a long time smoker...Has some sciatica issues so kept telling himself the numbness in his right hand and leg yesterday was pinched nerve all day...
His smile was normal, no droopy eye or mouth. Was very cognitive.. But when I did some reach out and take my hand, and move your foot...and he couldn't , is when I tried to tell him I thought it might be stroke. He's so stubborn.... they did a ct right away at this small hospital and saw the clot.12 hours in!!!! Errrr.

Well I might get my pole and a bit of fishing from the dock this morning.

Safe travels north Raine. Be fun to see your friends in IL Im Sure!

Glad your at your next stop Steph!

    Be well BBB!

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Let's hope your neighbor gets the care he needs Mary.
    • Unsubstantiated rumor that one of our neighbors died from Covid-19 yesterday. This particular lady and her husband were known for not taking the virus seriously.
    • I started this Monday morning with a small group of ROMEOs for breakfast.
    • Lee, Pastor Mike Morgan has been at our church for 7 years. He is moving to a larger church in Gainesville, GA. I think that is considered a promotion in that line of work. We will miss him and his wife. I got to know them pretty well during our trip to the Holy Land last year.
    • Safe travels Raine.

Ok. I missed sat and sun.

Dave: 80 in the summer all day no one is here. Then, around 4 it kicks down to 74 I think. Remember I have my window ac unit. Yep. Trashy but no one can see it Well hidden. Ha.
Winter. 60. Yes. 60. Like Dennis, dress appropriately. No one is home. But in the evening we do turn on the gas fireplace so the room where we hang is warm.

Mary, too bad about your neighbor!! We make a dish similar to yours but call it black bean salsa. Everything the same except for the dry Italian dressing.

Lee, is that guacamole homemade? Mine always is. I made Pico de Gallo yesterday for beef fajitas.

Steph, ok. What’s A leech field? I’m imagining an insect that sucks your blood like a tick.

Dave, love strawberries. Mom made jam and last week blackberry jam. YUM. still liking your temps there. Better than here and Texas!!

    Later.
