Stretching me foot while sipping my coffee. Paddling with a friend this morning then business affairs this afternoon.

Did a new hike yesterday, only a few hours but very pleasant remote feeling area.

    Have a good one.

    Good Morning!

I decided that I was too tired to do the treadmill this morning. I'm thinking that is not a good thing starting out the morning from a tired prospective.

I should be just heads down on a pricing project at work. This is our annual review of costs so that we can set pricing for next year.

I also chose not to work on the bathroom trim last night, and Connie and I went and purchased frozen yogurt, and then went out to the lake to watch the water. Good choice!

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

    Rill?

Heading for the mountains, this morning, for a hike in the Goat Rocks Wilderness. Going to be unusual: I have never done this hike before. I'll start with a steep climb to a ridge top, traverse to a little lake, then take a long spiral down to where I started, for a 15-mile loop. Weather should be great and I hope for good views.

    Mornin' gents.

A rill is a channel cut into the ground by draining water.

Good to hear the feeling is coming back, Sam. BP better?

One of the tenants of training that I was taught (many moons ago), especially as we age, is to restrict high intensity aerobic training to 3x weekly. If you need to have a daily routine then mix in some anaerobic training (resistance and stretching) on the off days.

Have you ever tried slowing down the treadmill, jacking up the incline and walking backwards to stress the quadraceps and stretch the hamstrings, Steve?

We got rain last two days. We were getting into drought conditions. Been living in the North East so long, I can't imagine living where rain is so scarce, Bill.

    Be OP ;-)

    Good Morning

I used to live in the Northeast. I liked the rain, except in the winter, then not so much.

We might get under 100 today finally and start cooling down a bit over the next day or two. Lightning storms on Sunday started lots of brush fires around here. Air quality is slowly improving but with the heat, it is not fun out there. I had a good first "visit" with the new Dr. We have a treatment plan in place now with a nerve ablation scheduled in 10 days among other things like a more focused push on getting the weight gain back off. PT and housework today....exciting stuff.
