Up an at 'em. Rise n shine.

Happened by youngest DS's and someone mentioned his oil light on his car. I offered to check the oil... it took 3 quarts. Kids these days.

Dave, that sounds like a fabulous hike. I haven't been on a real hike in the mountains since a year ago, just our small local hills. Wishing you good weather. It's 53º here this morning.

Coffee brewing. Have a good one everybody.

Sadly my pesky knee would keep me out of high terrain right now myself. Hope all are doing well if in areas with heat and wildfires. So much going on right now.
Off for early ride before dental appointment.

    Good Morning!

I hope that everyone had good hikes yesterday, and/or today if that is where you are headed. I hiked at Lake Tahoe on my treadmill this morning. I need to move that outdoors with our nice weather. I will this weekend.

I'm still very tired, and I'm not sure the root. I know that I have been very busy, but I'm starting to wonder if something else is going on. According to my CPAP app, I'm getting good sleep with the CPAP, and my apnea events are low. I'll have to keep an eye on this. Maybe just not enough sleep? I'm getting about 7 hours a night these days.

I am still keeping Skip, Sam, and Bill in prayer for healing and pain management.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

Beautiful hike, yesterday, though it turned into a bit of an ordeal. I carried two liters of water, planning to refill when my trail crossed two year-round streams, but both streams were dry. I rationed the last of my water, but got pretty dehydrated, so I was more tired than the hike would otherwise have made me. The view is at Sheep Lake - 4 1/2 miles into my hike, with half my water already gone. The first - supposed - creek was another mile down the trail. Not crazy about lake water, but wish I'd filled up there. Covered 14 miles, with 2,647 feet of climbing (mostly in the first 2 miles).

Looks like a beautiful day for a hike. The scenery isn't too bad either! I do miss hiking!

Another hot one here. We might get back into the 90s, which would be nice. Local fires still burning. Thankfully it hasn't been unusually windy. Quiet day today. A contractor from Lazy Boy is due to repair my recliner in the living room. It has been a while since we have had anyone in the house. But masks will still be worn.

    Have a good one!
