    Mornin' BBB.

    Super busy weekend. Oppressive heat and humidity.

    I actually took the weekend off from doing any practice home work. Had a really fun day in the salt yesterday but paying for it today. Too much sun and too much fly casting and too much fighting schoolie striped bass. We stopped fishing while the bass were still blitzing bait because we were exhausted from catching fish. Most of the fish were in the 25-26 inch range. Keeper bass must be 28-35 inches. So no fish for dinner, but boy did we have a blast catching them on a fly.

    Sam, that is kind of a sad story about the guy whose retirement money ran out. Flat tires are such a nuisance.

    Kelly, I forget what rod and reel combo I recommended.

    Skip, hope Carrie enjoyed her birthday. I'm curious to know how DSIL destroyed your yard.

    Guest ministers/pastors/priests generally are good preachers. That is their schtick since they don't have deal with the congregation business during the week. I always enjoyed it when we had a guest priest give the sermon. Me dad always put me to sleep.

    Survived the weekend! DW VERY happy with the surprise soiree and time with her college roommates and friends/family. Aside from an PITA DSIL - it was great! Lots to catch up on this week.

    We begin with front tires running over right side yard and then end with driving left side tires right through the front of the yard.

    INCREDIBLE! Her daughter, DW, myself all chewed her a new *kitten* - I hate stupid people !

    Good morning.

    I have something like gout in my big toe and have been walking like Frankenstein for two days. 4k steps on Saturday and 1.5k steps yesterday.

    Woke up with a splitting headache. Not a good way to start a Monday. Only thing I need to get done is to mow the lawn.

    Morning BBB

    Meeting grandma at grandpa's place for a 20 minute visit. Then we will run all of our errands to get the car titled and licensed, pick up mail and hopefully figure out how to vote Then we can visit grandma at her place for 30 minutes this afternoon.

    Will stay with my aunt again tonight and head to Minnesota tomorrow to ride the root river trail.

    Stayed at the lake too late and didn't get home til 10:30pm last night. Had fun though. Ran into our gonna be new neighbors at the lodge in the afternoon and chatted for a bit, I think we'll get along fine.

    Our neighbor that stroked last Sat is doing well, caught him cutting grass even sighhhh. Slow down mister!

    Ds2 removed a wasp nest the size of a basketball up in his basement rafters this weekend, Yikes! Sprayed them dead dressed in a bee keepers hat! welcome to home ownership. They were sneaking in throu a tiny slit between vinyl siding and A/C pipe coming in.

    Looking forward to hosting a BBB couple here Wed night!!! Safe travels Steph and Ron!

    Lee, any rod set up suggestions ? Mostly just fishing for panfish, with worms and may try minnows, either way and a bobber... or use a lure here and there for something bigger, bass, etc???

    • Busy day here for a retired guy. Breakfast with the ROMEOs, HOA Finance Comm. meeting and a meeting with our new Pastor this afternoon.
    • Having viewed the evidence from the prosecution I must admit the lawn damage in VA was not as bad as I was led to believe. BTW, well done for the soiree.
    • I hope your head is feeling better Dave. Definitely not a good way to wake up.
    • Mary, sounds like there is some excitement in the metro area south of you.

    Not had the TV or news on much. I see now. And the riots too. What do the innocent business owners property have to do with any of this!

    I'm all done with the USCB job. Last night. Had a good run. Now onto some personal things to get done!
