Getting remnants of the fringes of Laura today. Some showers already starting, and it's a cool 60º out. We need the rain here. Hiked along the "Swift" river yesterday and it was all rocks and puddles with only a trickle of flowing water here and there. Did 4 miles; never had to put on a mask, no other hikers.

Need to pay some bills and catch up on laundry today.

Bill hope your procedure went okay and has some success and relief for you.

Light-Weigh materials arrived in the mail, will look at them today. The 2nd, weekly video was Thursday.

    Where's Doc Skip?

    Mornin' gents.

Today me dad turns 86. His health has taken a precipitous plunge in the last six months and I wasn't sure he would make this birthday. Tough to watch a guy go from hale and hearty to being on oxygen 24/7 and barely able to take care of himself. But such is life.

There will be a Zoom family gathering today for everyone to sing him Happy Birthday.

    Prayers for Bill.

    Be OP ;-)

    Good morning gentlemen.

I love lonely river walks, Mike.

Yeah, prayers for Bill. He goes through so much.

Happy birthday to your dad, Lee.

Don't know what is on tap, today. I do plan to make scalloped potatoes with ham, for supper, using some russet potatoes Rita just harvested from her garden. Freshly harvested potatoes really do taste better than those from the store.

    Good Morning!

This morning ends our longest dry spell of the year. We've already had 1.5 inches this morning. Now we will have cooler weather for about a week. I'm happy!

Prayers for Bill, Skip, and for Lee's dad, and family.

I'm not sure what is on tap for today. Chores this morning. Perhaps a farmer's market or something today, since it is supposed to be cooler. We have not done hardly any farmer's markets this year due to social distancing.

I love hearing low rumbles of thunder. Frankie the dog is hanging real close to me, but I love it.

    Have a great day!

    Good Morning

    Happy Birthday to Lee's Dad!

Yesterday's procedure went well I think. Air Quality up there was worse as we drove toward the fires North of the Bay. Very little nerve pain today in my calf or foot. Per the Doc, the level of tightness and inflammation in my back made inserting the needle thing into each side of the 3 spine joints more "stimulating" than normal and I was very very sore afterward and had to ice every hour. I like the days when you were pretty much out it during these things.
But much of that soreness has passed and the back still feels some of the procedure meds. More icing (than normal) today as I attend day 2 of the Quarantune 2.0 Virtual Dulcimer Festival. I was at my Hammered Dulcimer at 6am again this morning and have 4 more sessions scheduled today. 4 in a row with a 10 minute ice session in between. We shall see how it goes but so far I am enjoying it and learning much. I still suck but I am enjoying it! In about 5 weeks they will circle back with an epidural to knock back the inflammation.
