We made it! The weekend! WOOT!

DB coming today. He always makes me laugh. Looking forward to seeing him and spending some time in the pool.

Cookout with some friends tomorrow for the Derby.... Got a great outfit for this years' Derby!

    Rest/relax.

Anyone else have big plans for the Labor Day Weekend?

    Cheers,

    Morning

Nope. No plans other than working and fishing with my mom tonight. Woot temps are high of 78 today. Perfect evening to fish.

    Morning BBB

We made it to Burlington VT early yesterday evening. Stayed in Niagara falls the night before. We couldn't go through canada so the trip was 16 hours over two days. We took the no toll route so we could see more beauty (and cause DH is frugal...haha). Noted some interesting towns to go back and explore someday.

Today we have some shopping to do. There is a Helly Hanson store here which is the main reason for this stop. And the last chance for a Costco so will stock up.

Our host called yesterday to check in. They are so excited we are coming and plan to leave for thwir lake house for a day this weekend.

    Good morning BBB crew.

Another beautiful day on the forecast. I'm hitting the road early, for a hike over on Mt. Rainier.

    Good morning.

The umbrella that's always in my car - wasn't in my car.

    Mornin' BBB.

Looks like a serious downpour, Lou.

Heck, Kelly. We haven't had matching washer/dryer in our home for years, maybe ever.

No plans for the weekend. Will take what comes.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • This the 3rd time I typed this. Let's see if it is a charm.
    • No big plans here for the weekend. I'm excited I made it to Wally World yesterday. I got a new tire pressure gauge.
    • It's going to continue to be hot here today. There is supposed to be some relief next week.
    • Kelly, America has the world's richest poor people. You can't expect them to live without matching appliances.
    • I spent a fun evening at American Legion Post 99 in Burlington, VT once. Nice town, what I saw of it. We were just riding through on a motorcycle trip.
    • I was wondering why you would need an umbrella in Austin and then I looked at the weather radar. I'd be a mad dog too.
    • Stay safe on the mountain Dave.

    Good Afternoon,
I believe this is first house that we had all matching appliances, only took about 42 years, and if DS did not need a couple of appliances would more than likely have some mismatch now.
Spent morning putting up grab bars for gentleman who is disabled, then put together antenna and made mask to mount it on.
DW's washer is supposed to be delivered this afternoon; dryer is coming from Florida do not know when it will get here but one we have works fine; DS will get when new one gets here.
Plan now is DMIL will not return till tomorrow and believe we are keeping DGS tomorrow night.
No longer working WW they did not have a place for me since they brought someone else in; they say I'm not furloughed or laid off and am welcome to sub if I can find a place.
Right now no plans for Sunday combined church service may watch virtual since we will have DGS, Monday may go to breakfast with old men of neighborhood.
May set some baby back ribs out to smoke Sunday or Monday; have never been planned out like Mary.

Burlington is nice. Norwich right up the road. Great scenic area. Be sure to go check out Ben and Jerry’s.
