Welcome, first weekend in September!
In the US and Canada, the last long weekend of the Summer with Monday as Labour Day holiday!
It's been sometime since I posted my monthly personal goals. This is a new "school" year (my UAC new year- you get the joke ) so I decided to start afresh by posting my goals. Here we go...
Personal goals for September:
1. Plan to be in winners circle (track everything as expected in this UAC)
2. Not more than 3 pass days
3. Stay honest (even if it puts me out of the circle for the month)
4. Forgive my mistakes (forgive myself) and don't leave the UAC for this month even if I failed
5. Encourage others where possible.
Looking forward to a successful September!13 -

Kitchen close? Yes ( My kitchen needs to be closed, especially on weekends. It's not week-wreak but a weekend. This is my weekend message to myself)

Oh, how I love Jiu Jitsu! After a 4th crazy busy day at work which included getting attacked by a door (after the 40+ kg python lunged at me, I was focused on him and caught my finger gouging a huge chunk of flesh out)! Believe me, the door was worse than the python! That’s how my life goes. Anyway by the time I got home I was super tired but we had made plans to train and thanks to isolation we haven’t done much recently and our host is heading to Poland for a month to sort out his visa so he can stay here longer so opportunities to roll are going to be rare, so I couldn’t bail. As usual, I loved it and felt more energised afterwards! Plus we can borrow some of his mats while he is gone and keep training! 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Good food choices and all under budget! Work shift done so I’ve got 8 days to do what I want. Hopefully spring will cooperate and the weather will be good for all the adventures we want to do.11 -

From now on whenever I have a bad day at work I will remind myself that at least I don't have to watch out for pythons. I think it will help with the comfort eating. 😂
Another pass day for me. Only a little over calories, but no exercise. I'm realising that unless I get it done first thing in the morning, I find it very hard to get it done at all. Something to work on!
Total pass days=2

Perfect weather for walking today. I was able to do 7 miles. Eating went well, too, and everything has been logged.7

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? No -- I have a virus and rested all day. The good news is my COVID test results came in (got the test and results in 24 hours -- our local healthcare system is great). The test was negative, so I don't have it, just an ordinary yucky virus.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? yes, well under
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? yes

Yes for all three today. Weekends are usually my downfall. Last month I lost the same pound every week over and over only to regain it on the weekend. Thankfully, being a part of this group has made me examine my flaws and come up with a plan. I really want to be a part of the winner's circle this month, so I am determined to overcome my weekend cheats. It is really just a matter of putting on my big girl pants and sticking to my diet plan even when I don't "feel" like it...and staying away from vegan nacho's.13

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? 6 mile run outside this morning (skies finally cleared enough of wildfire smoke that I could run outside -- it's been about 2 weeks) and 2 hours of dancing around during band practice.

Pass day 1/3.
I went over but I also didn’t go crazy and eat everything in front of me. That’s a good step for me because I would often justify eating way over my goal since I didn’t stick to it anyway.9 -
Exercised for 20 min: ✔ Check!
Stayed within calorie budget: ✔ Check!
