Rough turned four bowls from a very fresh-cut maple log, yesterday. Then faced the smoky air and mowed the lawn. Still pretty bad air, today, so we will take it easy. No hiking a until the fire situation is in hand. Rain is forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday (fingers crossed).0 -

I think we all had the sinking feeling, such sadness, for many weeks after the terrorist acts in the USA on 9/11. We will never forget the heros dead and alive. The one thing I feel it did do was unite this nation. What happen to that, Since? So tired of generalizations made to everyone being of either of the far left, or of the far right. IMO so not accurate.
Prayers for those in Oregon.
I'm watching Love Actually on the glamper DVD while its pouring rain. The heater is on, the fall blend coffee I bought is delish.
SO is getting my blessing to sleep in on this rainy Sat. morning.

Beemer update: $1200 damage. Not bad at all. Scheduled for all original bmw parts to replace what’s broken. No insurance for her of course. Insurance is filing with the state so her license will be suspended. Car getting fixed September or maybe October 25th ish. Take 3 days. We get a loaner car.
