40º here in Rutland. (It's 62º in my condo). And starting to see hints of fall color in the landscape. Seems too early.
Getting used to not eating between meals, other than one or two bites if I feel too hungry near mealtime. Hopefully this will help me lose weight eventually. Weight is kind of hovering, although I lost a few #s initially.
Went for a nice walk around state park with DD and her dog Rosie (95-lb. Bernese Mtn dog). DD walks really fast so it was a challenging workout for me. Nice to see her a short while at least. Tomorrow DS Nick and I will climb Mt. Monadnock in So. NH.
Lee, congrats again to Babe on her win. Pretty cool.
Prayers continue for the west-coasters here.
Have a great day everyone, and be safe.0 -
Good Morning!
Mike, great job on the changing of the eating habits, and your weight will follow.
I am down over 12 pounds year to date. Not as much as I had wanted, but I am still losing. I still have at least 20 more pounds, and one CPAP to go.
Super busy today at work, and then church budget meeting tonight. I am on the finance committee. It will be a zoom meeting.
Still working on the bathroom. We put down grout last night. Tonight we'll stain boards for trim. Connie wanted to paint the room, so after she does that, we'll install the toilet and trim.
Have a great day!0 -
Mornin' gents.
Congrats on the l2 lb loss, Steve. And good job keeping on with the new plan Mike.
Hoping we hear from Bob soon.
My calf is finally feeling good enough to walk briskly again. I was worried I was going to tweak it this weekend chasing Babe through the heavy cover we were running in, but although I was aware of it, it continues to feel better.

Good morning gentlemen.
Congratulations on the losses.
The forecast rain did not happen, for us. There were a few light showers in the area; nothing widespread. Air is still in the very unhealthy category. I need to check the filter on our HVAC system to see if it needs to be changed. Friends and family have reported new filters have turned black in a couple days. It's pretty bad, out here.0 -
I just discovered our hazy sky here this morning is smoke from fires out west, 3000 miles away. Sun was orange first hour or two, now whole sky is pale brownish- gray instead of blue.0

Good Morning
Stopped reading and walked over to check my A/C filter. Not too bad. Another unhealthy air day, but I will head out to Physical Therapy and stop for a few groceries wearing my single N95 mask. It has been a while since the sky has been blue.
Congratulations on the loss Steve.
I hope Bob is alright0
