    Good Morning!

One more day of work, and then I'm on vacation for a week! The pricing project is almost complete, and I feel good about where I am this morning.

We got her royal heinie's throne installed last night. Now it is just the little stuff to finish in there.

I think that we have decided NOT to go to our annual Walk Like MADD tomorrow. Even though we have several responsibilities in preparing for the walk, with 70+ people signed up to attend, Connie especially, is not comfortable being around so many people with the risk of COVID. The event is outside, but masks are recommended, but not required. There seems to be just too many chances of mingling with people from all over the state. I think that we are making the right call. Connie meets five of the "markers" for COVID, and Kansas has a higher than average positive rate.

    Have a great day!

Good call on the walk, Steve. We really need a cure or a sure vaccine before we rush back to “normal” so fast.

Went to my doc’s PA yesterday, got a foot and chest xray, arm brace for tennis elbow, and taking claritin for cough to see if it helps. PT appointment for arm, maybe a visit to podiatrist. Follow up in a month. Today my quads and calves are sore from Wednesday’s hike up the mountain.

Chilly windy morning as Sally blows by, but no rain. We’re heading into a severe drought.

    Mornin' gents.

Brought a laptop to Florida. Dad is basically restricted to sitting or a wheelchair. He get dangerously low O2 saturation using a walker to go 40 feet. He has a great appetite though, LOL. We chowed on Thai takeout last night. Gonna cook him up a steak Gordon Ramsey style tonight since there is no outdoor grill available for us to use.

I'm trying to come up with a better oxygen delivery system for when he tries to walk other than just the nose canula. I want him to try using the nose and mouth mask. He doesn't seem to be able to train himself to keep breathing through his nose when exerted.

I'm don't have much faith in a vaccine, Mike. Vaccine wise, I think the best efficacy we can hope for is what we are seeing with the situation with the flu vaccine. This virus is pretty slippery (easily mutating).

Psyched for you taking a vacation, Steve. Sorry you can't really go anywhere. Maybe pack a nice picnic lunch and take a day trip to a nearby wilderness preserve or Connie friendly place?

    Be OP ;-)

    Good morning gentlemen.

Had a virtual choir rehearsal last night, on Zoom. Because of timing issues, all participants are silenced, except the director. I find it very difficult to get my part right without the support of other voices. Another thing to mourn with Covid: it's robbing me of the joy of singing in a choir. Sigh.

A band of thunder showers is blowing through, this morning. We need the rain, but it's coming too fast. They warn of flash floods and landslides in areas denuded by fires.

    Good Morning

Happy Vacation Eve Steve. I am sure you and Connie will find some safe places to enjoy together.

I am leary of a vaccine being rushed under political pressure. I will pass until it appears safe. We are still learning about this sucker.

Nice weather here but rain would be nice and a cause for quite a commotion since we don't get rain this time of year. The fire damage creates the risk of mudslides in heavy rain too.

My Doc is more than pleased with the results from my RFA procedure and canceled the planned epidural until it is needed. No complaints here. Just tutoring and some other volunteer stuff today.

    Good Evening,
    Enjoy VaCa Steve,
Dave, hope you got enough rain to help with fires
Sally dumped over 6" on us, gauge over flowed
Hear one vaccine company is expanding pool while another has retracted
Right shoulder and arm getting worst, hand losing feeling and has dropsies and shakes, first available appointment 2 weeks.
