36 degrees. Feels good. Better than 80 + degrees with 99% humidity as it was in Jacksonville FL.
Winter is coming.
Yes, Bill. Even though our coloring is different, and he has more hair than I do, the resemblance is apparent and especially so a we age. Same wry smirk anyway.

G' morning men. Frost on all the car roofs here. This is a bit early for us...
Going paddling with an old friend after breakfast. Will build a fire on shore afterwards and catch up on things.
My chest xray found nothing abnormal, so not sure why I am coughing. Doc has me trying Claritin to see if it is allergies. Possibly GERD related. Will be following up in a month anyway. Foot xray also negative. Doc couldn't feel the lump there either, but I can feel it whenever I walk... They'll xray my head next to see if there's anything in there or just a pure vacuum.
Trying to follow the Light-Weigh plan but not really losing so far. Only through 3rd week...
Have a good one.0 -
GERD can certainly cause a bronchitis and it may have caused my dad's pulmonary fibrosis. Please follow up with your doc if the cough doesn't clear up.

Good Morning,
Great to hear from Bob yesterday;
Need to get contact info on each other again; don't like worrying and not knowing if folks OK
Arm and shoulder still acting up, plus is I'm not eating as much.
Cool here again today, so thankful0 -
Wow that's chilly Lee. Nice to see ya and dear ole pops!! Oh I also second the idea of keeping on top of GERD.
I feel like my knee is doing "ok" for the new normal me. My new orthopedist cancelled on me anyway.
Glad we still have good air now for the third or fourth day in a row after our thunderstorm last Friday in the wee hours.
Off for early bike ride.0 -
Good morning gentlemen.
Enjoyed a day of sports, yesterday: watched the U.S. Open, the some football, ending with the Seahawks and Patriots (they always have compelling games).
Cloudy, today, but I need to mow - I fertilized last week and it is growing fast.
I have had a persistent cough for a long time, which the docs have had trouble figuring out. Both GERD and allergies have been suspected, so I take omeprazole twice a day and Allegra every morning. I do joke that my seasonal allergies run from February through October. Good luck getting a handle on it, Mike.0 -
FYI-the doctors told my dad there was nothing abnormal about his chest x-rays 2 years ago. The chest films didn't show appreciable changes until about 4 months prior to him having an acute exacerbation. I would think a CT or MRI would be indicated if one's cough persists.
Praying for your arm and hand, Sam.
Meant to say its great to see you posting, Bob. We was a bit worried you got burned up.

Good Morning!
Vacation late start.
I STILL have 2-3 hours to go before I'm finished with that @#$^ bathroom. I just have to trim the bottom of a drawer, caulk around the shower, and a little cleanup around door jambs. I cannot wait for it to be completely done! I started the first bathroom in late July. I feel WAY behind on a host of other projects because of all of the time working on the bathrooms. They do look nice, however.
Finishing that today, and so other chore like things, then, more vacation like things. Just day trips, kayaking, etc.
Have a great day!

Good Morning
Such language Steve. Remodeling can do that to you.
Quiet day yesterday. I took care of a few things around, shopped and made a batch of Gavin's 10 Can Chili to go with some hot dogs I grilled. It was a wonderful weekend after so many ones trapped in the house from heat, fire & smoke. More chores today but at a relaxed pace.0
