Another chilly morning again here, 36º, more like November than September. Brrr.

Lee and others, thanks for health advice. Will keep on my doctor if no answers forthcoming.

I will be doing an online conference next two days and probably not get a chance to check in until Friday.

    Good morning gentlemen.

First day of Autumn: what happened to summer? It always goes by too fast. Covid and fires messed this one up. It should still be dry and comfortable (70) today. Rain comes in tomorrow.

I spent much of yesterday working in the yard, so today I'll get into the shop, I think. I have a small maple log I have an idea for.

    Good Mornig!

Upper 70s to low 80s here, with lows in the upper 50s. Just beautiful weather.

Connie has a hair appointment this morning, and I still have some "punch list" items in the bathroom. I don't like how the carpet to tile transition worked out, so I am going to re-do that. I want it to look right. I also gooped up a little of the wood trim with caulk, and I either need to get that cleaned or replaced. I also have a new vanity mirror to hang for Connie. THEN, I think it will be done.

Collin and I went to the shooting range last night. Every time I go, I forget how much I enjoy it. We found a range less than five miles from home that is climate controlled. I like it. You cannot buy hardly any ammo off the shelf. People are still hording it. You can buy up to 100 rounds to shoot on the range. I'm frankly surprised that they can cover that. It is so funny how the world can be so small sometimes. The guy that we were next to on the line is an old friend from Earp, which is where I worked almost 10 years ago. We easily remembered each other, and had great conversation. His oldest son was also in Connie's Latin class one year.

    Have a great day!

Yup should be quite rainy tomorrow in PacNW they say. Not that cold with a low in the lower 50s. I too enjoyed the Seahawks win over the Patriots. Both teams moved the ball and scored.
Oh and I too worked in the yard mowing yesterday and then had a late afternoon heavy shower move by briefly.

Wow didn't know Connie taught Latin. Brings back the old "Gallia est omnis divisa in partes tres" or "Arma virumque cano, Trojae qui primus ab oris. Italiam, fato pro fugus..." oh just stop me. I can't remember where stuff is now but can recite the first 20 lines of the Aeneid. Now there's a useful thing to know.

Glad I got out early today but not in favor of the dark so much. Less peeps to dodge but hard to see anything.

    Good Morning

Another warm one in the upper 80's. Fall weather sounds good. Rain sounds good. But we got a couple months to go.

I have started doing Silver Sneaker workouts 3 days a week and walking the others. It is beginning to make a difference combined with my daily PT routine an PT 2x a week to help guide my forward progress.

Connie taught Latin? Do any schools still offer Latin as a language option?

Yes, school I subbed at past 2 years still offers Latin; I can't remember any Latin but it has been more than 50 years and I only took for 2 years. One needs to use it or loose it; applies to so much in life!
Doctor for arm next Tuesday, heat has been helping until I put any weight or stress on it such as picking up a glass, I've gone from curling 65 lbs. to spilling a glass of tea,
Steve, be sure and plan some fun; there will always be chores to do
Been enjoying cooler temps, rain coming back as well as 80's
