Although I’m over pass days here, I’m still on track to close all of my Apple rings this month. So today I had a rest day and assumed a nice long light yoga session would be enough for my rings. It wasn’t so at half past seven tonight I was skipping to try and get enough active calories registered to close the ring! It’s not closed so I’m putting my watch on charge and getting into bed.
I ate well today and prepped some food for when I have a late Jiu Jitsu class. Classes start on Monday which makes me so happy.
I’m also happy to note that whatever I tweaked in my back yesterday seems to have sorted itself out with rest and a muscle relaxant.
Tomorrow will also be a quieter day but I am walking over to a friend’s house for online church (in person services start in a couple of weeks) and doing yoga with my housemate so I should get my rings closed easier.6 -

Another busy day of house projects here which I counted as my exercise. I also did some meal prepping which should make staying on track the next couple of weeks much easier.7 -

Yesx3 day yesterday and today. Tracked and stayed under. Staying very busy has been helping with keeping food in check. And all the walking has been helping with the exercise. 16k steps yesterday! As I had to walk around for a few errands and decided to ditch the car. Glad I did. Signed up for October! 🙏5

I discovered today that it is possible to microwave an ear of corn for four minutes (instead of boiling it for Idunno how long... It was PERFECT!

leave all the leaves on (so DON'T shuck it) . The leaves and silk are what keep the moist steam close. After the four minute, you cut off the end (and therefore all the connections between the leaves and the core) / discard leaves and silk / season to taste / enjoy!
I also saw a heading that one could wrap (presumably already-shucked) cobs in wet paper towels. But check the net on that as the timing might be different, and there might be nuances to the procedure in the article (that I would not have seen, not having read it)
