As much as I love Jiu Jitsu, my body needs the weekend to recover at the moment. This doesn’t mean I’m totally inactive but differently active and today was mostly rest day.10 -

I had my shot through our office in a drive thru fashion yesterday - I was supposed to swim this morning but arm was sore so just added more waking for today.
I got a huge silicone monofin today (birthday gift that’s been on order for two month) ... so very excited! I love mermaid swimming - great core workout too - and this giant 36” wide monofin is the next step up! Can’t wait to get a tail skin for it!

I didn't think I had that capacity in me any longer considering I have pretty well established averages on my usual segments or tracks.

Well, it is about how you are focused on good health even when the day wasn't exactly what you had in mind. You ARE still in the challenge... Whether you end in the WC or not...is not the most important part of this(as you know). It's never a good day when one starts with ice cream for breakfast. I did not track, I know I did not stay within my calorie goal, and I must remember not to eat ice cream for breakfast. I did get my exercise in so that's saying something.
