@zichab Congrats on surviving a very busy September. Sorry to see my Michigna buddy leave the state though.
I tested negative. that company is a lot more right-winged than left. To this day I've only seen a handful of mask being used.
Went for a couple of walk with the hubby and will get one more in hopefully today. Fall is settling in and I'm having to turn my thoughts to indoor workouts again. Hoping to find the moativation while I'm packing all the summer stuff away.
I'm not sure what fall looks like where all you live but out my window its golden yellows, with spots of greens and reds/oranges.1 -

Sounds beautiful! We are already seeing gold and red leaves down here in Alabama. Getting over the remnants of hurricane Delta, rain, wind and warm temps, then finally some cooler temps.0 -
57 minutes slow dancing with a patient today who needed the comfort. Yes I earned 2 brownies and a maple candy for that lol.
PSA: PLEASE get your flu shot when you can if its safe for you. ❤1 -

Yesterday DH was up for a walk and for something different we did a Park near our house. 2.19 miles later we had abunch of fun exploring and using an App I have to identify species in nature we came across.
Here's one of the views we came across.

@Deeder522 = That is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing!0

@zichab Oh my! Having to move plaster once is more than enough!
I didn't have any real grasp of how heavy it was until I started pulling it down off the walls. And what a mess! I should've worn a hat, my entire head was covered in dust! I did have fun with the demolition. The actual remodeling part is slow, tedious and so far, not that fun. But once it is all done, I'll finally have a nice tub for soaking! Hopefully in time for the cold weather season.

Lovely photo @deeder522! I just love autumn colors! I hope you enjoyed your time in nature with your DH.0

Another hour of FAT BURN FOR 200 CALORIES per the fitbit yesterday even though I wasn't formally trying to exercise. I worked my butt off! Today I got a day off so I'm going to try to do an indoor walk cause it's raining. Gorgeous photo @Deeder5222

Going for 100 miles this month. Seems that when you adopt a puppy, you are going to rack up some miles, no matter what.... ha-ha. He's a mutt, mostly rat terrier. He sure lives life to the fullest. If he's not going at it full tilt, then he must be asleep.

full disclosure: last week was REALLY hard at work and today I had a day off and I didn't do any exercise today. I spent the day watching tv, eating lots of carbs, and cuddling my pup. barely any steps, barely any exercise today. tomorrow I plan to get back to stepping every hour at work. hope everyone else had a more active day!2

@mypinkbikini So it sounds liek today was a self care day.
I snuck in a 1 mile walk this afternoon and enjoyed the sunshine with some breezy winds.3 -
9 outta 13 hrs.... got a good 30 minutes movement in today. Another busy one at work. Off tomorrow, hoping to be taking a walk with a new audio book 🤞2

Reached out to several coworkers this morning to find someone to come walk with me who is also off today. Got one. Didn't have the self motivation to get myself out the door today. Its OK to reach out for support when you need help being a Healthier you 💝

Attending a friend's bacherloette's party Saturday, which included a walk in a local nature preserve. I promised our 1 friend I would stay with her so she wouldn't get left behind. So it was slow and steady yesterday.
Sunday was rest and recover for me. The last few weeks have been a whirlwind of activity and emotions.3 -

Yucky and rainy all day long. 31 minutes moving in my living room- dancing, walking, Stepping like leslie?
Has anyone done a leslie video with the band they like? I just got one and want to start using it this winter but would like some video suggestions if anyone has any.0 -

I think she still have a full length video on youtube that's with a band, something like iWalk(????) I know Miracle Miles uses bands too.1 -
@VeggieGirlforLife you're rocking those strength workouts with and without the plaster 💪!
@zichab September certainly was a whirlwind month for you!! I am SOOOO glad that your house sold so quickly!! And that you are finally in the Adirondack Mountains of NY, even if that means lots of unpacked boxes still. You will get to them in due time while adding in bunches of steps and movement, but in the meantime... yes! You made it... moved and retired, plus the oral surgery behind you!!
@mypinkbikini you are doing great stepping during your waking hours! Send me some rain... please 🌧 we are still in the 90s and only one short rain shower this month. Weather man said we are certainly trying for a dry hot October record month 😖.
Got my flu shot the first week of September... ✅
[/b]@AnnofB[/b] your puppy is sure taking you out for many a mile 🐾
[/b]@Deeder522[/b] Such a beautiful photo of autumn leaves!! Thank you. Nice walking in the park.
A bachelorette party with a walk in a nature preserve was such a cool idea they had, especially in autumn.

45 SLOOOOOOOOOOOW minutes of walking doing groceries, groceries, and some unnecessary mall walking today. If I'm feeling it again this evening I might do more living room movement but I'm counting this morning's activities cause its cool, rainy and ick outside and I'm hoping to do a BIG POWER CLEAN and then some baking for a few hours tomorrow so I'm going to conserve a bit of energy for that.3
-
@mypinkbikini some days are exactly as you described. Good idea to conserve energy today so that you can have an energy reserve for your busy day tomorrow. Slow walking is still walking! 💐 Well done!
