    Morning Gang

100% nothing on radar today. Sunny. Crisp temps. Might need to find a brewery to visit.

    Good morning BBB crew.

We have a cool, non-rainy morning ahead of us, to be followed by another storm this afternoon. I might try to gather leaves before the weather turns. Yesterday's wind and rain brought down most of what was left on out trees.

    Morning BBB

We have in cabin to clean today. And may help the neighbor with a log project. He had knee surgery recently and only comes up on weekends. It's supposed to be cold today so maybe will postpone until next weekend.

And I have a haircut appointment. I only get cuts a few times a year and with covid on the uptick I decided sooner rather than later in case salons close again.

    Have a great Saturday.

Thats the business to be in! Our neighbors run a cleaning business that includes windows. HOLY COW - 35 windows (inside/outside) almost $1000! He uses simple dawn dish liquid and squeegee. Amazing to watch how quick they are.

    Good morning

We on our way to ds2s trailered up with the zero turn, rakes, and leaf blower to help him with final yard cleanup. Its 29F. Last Sat. It was 70F but he had to golf one last time ahem...

The Santa snowman is lit on my porch for the reverse Christmas parade coming by tomorrow with Santa. Gotta make sure Santa sees my house as believers wink wink.

I sure cant afford windows washed at a grand!

    Be well BBB oxoxox

    Morning,
Pressure washed porch, steps, walk, driveway, sidewalk, curb and gutter, deck, and patio yesterday; doing nothing today.
As we were coming in from supper last night ambulance was taking neighbor off, have not been able to find out anything on her; husband has been fighting bone cancer last five years and just gotten where he can walk around block.
I was told this morning kids and grandkids will be here for Thanksgiving, guess I'll have to cook.
Skip, reckon that is why I have never paid anyone to wash our windows, not saying it would not be worth it especially on backside of house; we generally wash them once a year.
Started out mid 40's today should get to low 70's with sun shining

    Good afternoon BBB friends.
    • I spent the whole day on a Methodist Men's Zoom conference. Wild living, huh?
    • I could afford to have one of my windows washed.

Momma Moody - you need to spend a month each spring in Northern Virginia. You'd make bank!

We spend about $130 on 23 or so windows ... a grand sounds crazy to me!

Lots going on here. We're in the midst of the renovations, and I'm LOVING the changes! I painted the red wall blue (it was not political, I promise), the fireplace surround is almost finished, the cupboards have been painted and the doors will get new hardware and be reattached Monday, the new quartz countertops, sinks, and faucets will be installed Tuesday, then the backsplash (a pearl tile to match the fireplace ... it's so pretty!) after that. The master shower is done, and now I want to repaint our bedroom and bathroom to go with the new bedding. And, my FAVORITE so far, 2 of the new lights have been installed. They'll install the entryway chandelier next week, plus the new bathroom fixture in the downstairs bath (that's also getting new countertop, painted cupboards, and backsplash, and tear down the old deck to make way for the new. So fun!

I've been the queen of food prep on the weekends to stay on plan. I usually do pretty well with that anyway, but I've stepped it up even more since our kitchen is torn apart right now. Oh ... the new fridge and dishwasher are supposed to be delivered Thursday, too. This week I've got boiled eggs for breakfasts, cheesecake yogurt with fruit for whatever, baggies of veggies for snacking, clementines peeled and bagged, and tomorrow I'll prep dinners for the next 3 days so that they just need a quick warm-up. Lunches are Mexican wraps ... I'll grill the chicken tomorrow, too.

We've been doing in-person services at church again, too, and I'm back at the music. The pastor resigned, which leaves a new guy in charge. He's a seminary student and father of 3 young kids, so I'm sharing preaching responsibilities with him. Tomorrow I'm leading a panel discussion on prayer and meditation with 4 people who are strong in their recovery programs as the "message". I'm excited to try out this new format!

And WW is keeping me busy, too. I took on 2 new workshops, which takes my schedule up to 3 Virtuals each week and 6 in-persons. And then I've been subbing a lot for a really great coach whose hubby is declining in early-onset altzheimer's very quickly.

So, ya. It's been good! I'm almost done with Christmas shopping, too, and about half-done with wrapping. I plan to be much further along on that by the end of the week.

And that's the end of this novel. Ha! I should really stop in more so I don't have to catch up on so much at once. If anyone actually read all the way to the bottom, I officially grant you extra credit.

    Extra credit for me too!

Jeezus, Lisa. Your organizational skills and energy exhaust me just reading about your activities. Wow. I wonder if you need two X chromosomes to be able to be so organized and prepared?

Xtra credit my way too. Lady you're a rock Star! Busy as a bee..That Lisa! Love the new light fixtures!

I'm in the office tomorrow to grab a few more files then heading home. Got bedroom 3 set up nicely as my office today.

Tom just went for tpaper, papertowels, kleenex and said I should just stay home woohoo! , thank you honey! He will bring up the Christmas decor stuff this week as I request.

Ds1 in TX got his 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee hit and ran at the Grocery store yesterday, he is NOT happy!

Cold and rainy here. Some snow up at the lake over Night!

    Be well BBB!

    Oh no!!!! How bad, Mary?

I purposely park at opposite ends of parking lots. People are just in too much of a hurry. Careless. Reckless.
