    Good morning gentlemen.

Yesterday, Rita told the testers her last COVID test was very painful, so they said they would be careful and gentle. No pain, this time. Which begs the question of why they aren't careful and gentle all the time.

We are quarantined today, waiting for the anesthesiologist's phone call. The phone appointment is for 9, but last time they called an hour early, so we'll just loaf over our coffee and wait for the phone to ring.

Yes Dave the same thing happened to my brother who is in an assisted living home. He would only let one person do it. Hang in there. He feels a bit like he is in prison since March. Only time he got to go away from the facility was for a possible root canal and a return to his dentist for extraction.

    Good Morning!

    Keeping Rita in prayer.

Bench seats can be fun for all kinds of activities. The bench seat in my truck can comfortably sit three adults and a dog.

My first experience with ordering the whole week's worth of groceries for pickup went very well. For sure, that's the way I'm going from now on. I mistakenly ordered 10 pounds of potatoes instead of 5, but that's a minor inconvenience.

    Have a great day!

17º here this morning. Brrr. Heading out with the snowshoes for the first time this year.

Did a Zoom meeting with Boston area ham radio club. 24 people, mostly old men, plus one woman and two boys. One guy did a slide show of his visit to the Marconi station museum on Cape Cod, where the first transatlantic signals were sent, and later was a ship to shore station, even involved in relaying enigma coded messages intercepted from the Nazis. Cool stuff. Then a 9 year old kid showed a video of himself, launching a radio balloon he made that went up 100,000 feet and landed someplace east of here; he still hasn't recovered it... his talk was over my head.

Gettin together with DD and GKs tomorrow afternoon to cut a live tree from a 98 year old WW2 vet's backyard. All unpruned trees, only ones around (unless you go foraging for one...) for $30, a good deal around here.

My weight went back down a little from last week. I focus on limiting how much volume I eat and waiting until fairly hungry to have the next meal. No tracking of food. Try (not always successfully) to not eat between. I will have a cup of tea sweetened with a little sugar in between or in the evening. So far I have been losing, steadily although not very fast.

    Have a good day.

    Happy Humping,
    Good Morning,
    Cold this morning in Georgia
Wish they still offered bench seats
Pray all goes great for Rita tomorrow
Left leg giving me fits, better as long as warm, get out of bed in cool house and it starts aching; car seat heater helps till I get out of car

    Good Morning

Praying for Rita for a smooth couple of days. WI today, I wouldn't mind breaking even. After my first week of upping my carbs more, I know I could have done better if I had planned better. My mother took a fall yesterday and took some stitches to her head. I just got the text from my sister, I hope to get more details today. 3rd fall this year. The day will be split between some work for our unhoused friends and some housework. This wild living could kill you.
