Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes hour of yoga, stretching and planks.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes with 17 remaining.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes

Sweet dreams my friends!6 -
Got to spend some good time with my until recently house mate. She moved out because she had a better option so we are still good friends and while her boyfriend was away we had an evening together. Ate a bit too much but I didn’t end up too far over budget (I would be under it I used exercise calories).
Work wasn’t too chaotic today and I got in a morning run (went faster than I have in a long time even though I wasn’t trying) and late afternoon yin yoga. I have an online yoga subscription and I love the trainers there because it is Jiu Jitsu specific but one of the local yoga instructors is my favourite and I only normally get to do her Pilates reformer class because of the current class structure at my gym. I had to grab an option to do her yoga class and it was amazing! I was very happy to note how much more flexible I am since the last time I did her yoga class back in March!7 -

I have a similar Winnie the Pooh comic but the words are a little different...7 -
I haven't tracked since the 11th. My son took the ACT test on the 12th and I thought the crazy busy schedule would slow down. It really hasn't. I am now finished with Christmas shopping, decorating, and wrapping. So now I am hoping that things will get back to normal-ish. At first, I wasn't going to post at all, but I had to give myself a "talking to". If I can't be accountable to myself, I am never going to reach my healthy goal weight or develop a healthy lifestyle again. Life got busy, and I put my health goals on hold. I can't do that. I need to learn where my issues are and adjust and keep moving forward. Which is what I am planning on doing. I am taking pass days from Dec 11th thru Dec 18th which is a total of 8 pass days so far for me. One of my goals is to not use more pass days than I did in November, which was a crazy month too. So far, I have not exceeded November. I told myself I needed to post and get caught up in my excel spreadsheet. Luckily, I tracked my weight in my paper planner and thankfully I have not gained weight during this 8-day pass event. Time to adjust and keep moving forward

Yes, yes and yes for exercise, calories, and tracking.
My two favorite things today:
(1) A man's bank card wouldn't work when he was trying to purchase diapers and other things for his family in a nearby store. He went out to his car to get money or another card. In the meantime, someone else paid for all his purchases (about $65 USA). It's lovely to witness a kind act from a stranger at this time of year when so many people are tired and impatient.
(2) My second favorite thing is I spent the afternoon drinking coffee and reading (anthropology) outside in my heated car beside a snowy hill.11 -

@MaltedTea Thank you. 😊 Here is a collage of my dress, sash, rings, and flowers. We will be adding another ring (same as the top) for my bonus son on the bottom of my wedding set. The flowers my oldest (he's 16) made for me with a hot pink ribbon holding them together.
I am hoping to lose another 19-25 pounds in 12 1/2 weeks. This month so far I've lost 8 pounds and 9 inches over all.

My Two Favorite Things: I have made the choice to make time for myself and exercise and listen to positive messages. When out Christmas shopping for hours I decided first to pack myself a lunch box for in my car. In this box contains all my waters, my healthy snacks, yogurt, nuts, easy things to eat when driving. Now I won't get hungry when I am out and get cranky or eat something not so great and get me upset and feel I blew my day! I decided when shopping, no matter what, I was not going to get upset when there was a long line to stand in, when someone cut me off on the road, when someone wouldn't let me ahead in line at the grocery store and I only had 2 items and they had a cart full! I decided I was going to be kind no matter what! I was going to even be kind when a person wasn't so kind to me! I was also going to practice my patience and if I felt myself getting upset I was going to practice healthy breathing and settle myself down! Let me tell you, this worked! How did it work you ask? Read below!
1) So at Dollar Store buying few things and I go to get in line. The line is REALLY long, but its ok because I am practicing patience and I made time for the whole day to just run around Christmas shopping! This guy now gets in line behind me. He says wow this line is really long, they need to get some of the workers standing around the store not really doing anything to jump on a register! I said to him that the workers I saw in the store not on register were working on cleaning up the items that people had rumaged through, thrown on the floors, put back in wrong spots, garbage thrown on floor, and also were trying to replenish the shelves with more items so that we could buy those items that were empty from the shelves. This store is busy all the time! They don't really get a slow down period of customers so very hard to keep the store cleaned and stocked until store closes. So after telling him all this he changes his tone, softens a bit and says yes I guess didn't think about that and maybe I was wrong about them standing around not doing anything! I said we just need to stand in the line, talk and pass the time and be patient. I said this World is crazy right now and I see so much anger, hate, and everyone walking around with the " only me " attitude, especially during holidays! We are ALL very busy and we are ALL wanting to get our to do lists done! Now the lady in front of me has picked up on the conversation. She hears me say we all need to be calm and patient. She then chimes in agreeing with me! She is a black woman who I know is feeling what I am talking about since the BLM movement. Now all 3 of us are talking, laughing, and saying what we might do if we were the manager running this store to make this line go faster while still cleaning the store and stock it as best as we could! I used to manage a McDonalds when younger, I also managed two Fantastic Sam's Hairsalons, and currently have my own hair buisness in my home! I suggested that since they had 4 workers in store working that I would put one worker strictly on cashier, one worker would be put in one asile, one in another asile, and last one yet in another asile. When the store is super busy like this and line is long, you pull 2 workers off the aisles, put back on registers, now you have 3 to get people checked out faster, one still remains cleaning and stocking the store, when everyone gets checked out then you can go back to way it was. People won't be upset in line, you still keep cleaning the store and you have less angry people! They agreed with what I had mentioned and lady in front of me said she has seen posted now on social media that people are blaming the way they act now on Covid! Saying Covid made me do it! We started talking about all that too! All the talking we did with each other actually calmed us all down and passed the time! The line had now seemed to move faster, only because we were NOT focusing on the line! They did eventually open another register the closer we got and we seprated into two lines. I approached my check out lady. She looked overwhelmed, exhausted, and just plain unhappy and like she couldn't wait for her shift to end! She wasn't smiling and she didnt greet me with a hello or say sorry about the wait. I walked up, put my item on the belt and said hi how are you doing today? She then said hi back, not any more, and not smiling still. I waited and she told me total and I told her to have a great rest of her night and smiled a big grin! She gave me my change, smiled back big, and said you too Maam! Then when I was leaving my two people ( man and woman ) who I had talked to in line were also checked out same time as me. I said to them, look we are all done at same time and I wished them a Merry Christmas and they said same back to me. I walked out of that store and felt good about the way I chose to handle that situation as well as I saw the positive effect my reaction hand on others. If you are nice to even someone who is not nice to you, 99% of the time, they will soften, and be nice back and if they are not, thats ok too, brush it off, you were nice, kind, patient, and thats all that matters. Be the best you that you can be!
I know this was a VERY LONG message, but I feel the read is worth the message and hope you did too!
