I fell off the wagon of checking in each day. It is hard to check in and report pass 6, pass 7, pass 8. But I know the process works so I’m not going to give up.
@RangerRickL thinking about January made me check in today.
In January of 2020 I was a woman who had lost 100lbs. Right now, December of 2020 I define myself as a woman who gained 23lbs. It’s a negative thought pattern, it erases all of the accomplishment. It is very hard for me to share the hard parts of my weight journey- so easy when I’m crushing it.
I’m struggling but I know I have to keep trying.
Baby steps! I didn’t log food today but I made good food choices. I did opt to walk to work, 2 miles round trip with a very big hill.
And I signed up for January.

I slept long and well. 👍 Walked for about 1h with the kids and convinced myself to do a tabata workout while they were 🖥 afterwards. However, not sure about logging (though I did, in the evening, as I did yesterday) of every morsel, so I'll pull a UAC pass card from my pocket.
Off by 1 pass out of my personal 5 🤷♀️

For the third time this year, I've been so stressed to the point of losing my appetite. Not a marker of success by any means and I recognize that pre-2020 Maltedtea would've truly laughed at the thought of not being able to eat.
That said, disordered eating is not something I need to take on too so I've quickly learned this year that I need to get as close to my daily calories as possible. Consistent logging helps with this. That said, I'm calling it quits early today and going to bed pronto. I'm taking "rest day" literally. Besides, tomorrow's another day!

Leaving out of town for night! Going to my sister's house for dinner. Should be ok and no pass day will be used! I ate light today and worked out, so far have 1,110 calories remaining! Will post today when home on Sunday and catch up on posts since Thursday then! Hope you all had a great holiday!8

Final work day for me! My colleague does Sunday and then our team is off (ok well technically it is standby) for three weeks! Busy day including out in the sun lots (worked in my apocalypse uniform which is bikini and shorts to add to my tan) and rescuing a bucket from the seal pool where we dropped it yesterday giving them their icies. Also a possible bee sting on my foot (I rarely wear shoes so most of my stings happen when I stand on them). I never saw the bee but the increasing discomfort is what I usually feel. I had one pill left so quickly dealt with that but by the time I got home I was exhausted from the hard work, sun and medication. I succumbed to a snack attack which wasn’t logged but was definitely over.
Oh, well. Today is a new day!5 -
