Final work day for me! My colleague does Sunday and then our team is off (ok well technically it is standby) for three weeks! Busy day including out in the sun lots (worked in my apocalypse uniform which is bikini and shorts to add to my tan) and rescuing a bucket from the seal pool where we dropped it yesterday giving them their icies. Also a possible bee sting on my foot (I rarely wear shoes so most of my stings happen when I stand on them). I never saw the bee but the increasing discomfort is what I usually feel. I had one pill left so quickly dealt with that but by the time I got home I was exhausted from the hard work, sun and medication. I succumbed to a snack attack which wasn’t logged but was definitely over.
Oh, well. Today is a new day!5 -
Yes, yes, and yes, a good day! Only used one pass day so far this month, things are looking good for the winner's circle, its been a while for me...6

@lalabank I admire and appreciate your honesty. Many of us are in the same boat -- I know I am. I have to watch myself all the time not to slip back into the same habits (in my case, eating a chocolate bar every day -- I'm a huge sugar fiend, but don't miss it when I don't eat it). Thanks for sharing here.
@SummerSkier Love the photo. Yep, I think he must see cowz.

@lalabank You are an inspiration to me! I'm always glad to see your posts. You already know that you can do anything you focus on accomplishing. You also know that if you do not focus, then no one is steering toward the goal.
Best wishes,
Rick3 -
@bellesouth18 I sent you a private MFP message. Check out my instructions on how to find the January UAC pages.
Oops! Right after I wrote the above sentence, I saw that you already figured out how to join!
Hurrah and thanks!

Many thanks to Jessica & you, Rick @RangerRickL !@Hollis100 perfect image for today.
I fell off the wagon of checking in each day. It is hard to check in and report pass 6, pass 7, pass 8. But I know the process works so I’m not going to give up.
@RangerRickL thinking about January made me check in today.
In January of 2020 I was a woman who had lost 100lbs. Right now, December of 2020 I define myself as a woman who gained 23lbs. It’s a negative thought pattern, it erases all of the accomplishment. It is very hard for me to share the hard parts of my weight journey- so easy when I’m crushing it.
I’m struggling but I know I have to keep trying.
Baby steps! I didn’t log food today but I made good food choices. I did opt to walk to work, 2 miles round trip with a very big hill.
And I signed up for January.
Dear @lalabank ❤️
YOU are an inspiration to me! YOU never give up, and your weight loss & amazing fitness routine are incredible.
I personally believe it’s things going in a direction we don’t want that causes most of the pain, which often leads many of us to quit so as to avoid the pain.
I applaud your self-honesty. No one here is judging; we’re cheering. YOU are inspiring.
Harvard calls obesity a chronic, relapsing disease. This means picking ourselves up, when it gets the better of us, is essential. And each time we do that, we’ll find the next time even easier.
Wishing you all the best, you 77lb lighter & healthier warrior.
