@lalabank I admire and appreciate your honesty. Many of us are in the same boat -- I know I am. I have to watch myself all the time not to slip back into the same habits (in my case, eating a chocolate bar every day -- I'm a huge sugar fiend, but don't miss it when I don't eat it). Thanks for sharing here.
@SummerSkier Love the photo. Yep, I think he must see cowz.

@lalabank You are an inspiration to me! I'm always glad to see your posts. You already know that you can do anything you focus on accomplishing. You also know that if you do not focus, then no one is steering toward the goal.
Best wishes,

@bellesouth18 I sent you a private MFP message. Check out my instructions on how to find the January UAC pages.
Oops! Right after I wrote the above sentence, I saw that you already figured out how to join!
Hurrah and thanks!

January is only a few days away.

Many thanks to Jessica & you, Rick @RangerRickL !@Hollis100 perfect image for today.
I fell off the wagon of checking in each day. It is hard to check in and report pass 6, pass 7, pass 8. But I know the process works so I’m not going to give up.
@RangerRickL thinking about January made me check in today.
In January of 2020 I was a woman who had lost 100lbs. Right now, December of 2020 I define myself as a woman who gained 23lbs. It’s a negative thought pattern, it erases all of the accomplishment. It is very hard for me to share the hard parts of my weight journey- so easy when I’m crushing it.
I’m struggling but I know I have to keep trying.
Baby steps! I didn’t log food today but I made good food choices. I did opt to walk to work, 2 miles round trip with a very big hill.
And I signed up for January.
Dear @lalabank ❤️
YOU are an inspiration to me! YOU never give up, and your weight loss & amazing fitness routine are incredible.
I personally believe it’s things going in a direction we don’t want that causes most of the pain, which often leads many of us to quit so as to avoid the pain.
I applaud your self-honesty. No one here is judging; we’re cheering. YOU are inspiring.
Harvard calls obesity a chronic, relapsing disease. This means picking ourselves up, when it gets the better of us, is essential. And each time we do that, we’ll find the next time even easier.
Wishing you all the best, you 77lb lighter & healthier warrior.
🎉❤️🎉❤️🎉

First day to really be back on the wagon and I got 3 yes's.
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, 45mins at home workout, 21 minutes of jogging with my wife and 12k+ steps for the day.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yep, extra cals from exercise and no bread always make this so much easier
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes5 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes. Treadmill 42 mins / 2.25 miles
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes.

Pass day # 5
Exercise yes 10 min quigong, 26 min yoga for back pain which did relieve it
Spent the day relaxing and grazing
Tracking no calories probably not4 -
Yes to exercise and tracking. No to calories. It is always insightful to track my food regardless of whether I am over or under. I am grateful to be here and to be on track from that perspective. Eating my husband's pecan pie tasted great but tracking makes me aware that this needs to be an occasional indulgence.4

Ok I am re-reading my own post and clearly don't know who typed that message to @lalabank because MY message was supposed to say...@lalabank ..I haven't experienced having to loose the amount of weight you have lost, but I am EXTREMELY proud of your weight loss and please don't get discouraged that you gained some back because I think a 100 pound weight loss is pretty AMAZING and you should be very proud of yourself! This is why I need more sleep because I honestly don't understand how that weird sentence was even typed out! Very sorry that you read that and I can see clearly why the DISSAGREE button was pushed!3 -

I knew what you meant! Auto fill is my guess - the dastardly mind-if-it’s-own!
We’re human, right?!! ❤️3 -
@ginadomaszewicz
😂😂😂 that is so funny. Oddly that post didn’t show up for me but now that I’m seeing it- it’s very funny and clearly a typo or ghost typing.
Thank you for your kind words, the support I’m feeling from sharing that I’m having a hard time with my weight loss journey is really helping me let go of the negative voice I’ve been using towards myself.4 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? NO
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? NO
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? NO
Lazy day....2 -
@lalabank and @ginadomaszewicz It is best not any emotional energy into trying to figure out the disagree icon. Many times its just a mistake due to the inadequate MFP software platform; mobile devices tiny size; and just plain mistakes. If someone actually does 'disagree' please try to ignore it.
Just my opinion for living with social media.
