Yes x 35 -
Well, I'm back! Hoping I can stay motivated this time around.
Before I began working from home last March, I typically got 10,000-12,000 steps a day. Since then, I have averaged around 3,000. SO, for the month of January, I am adding a FOURTH criteria for myself each day: DID YOU GET 10,000 STEPS?
For the first day of 2021, it's YES x 4! (Exercise was 32 minutes of walk/run.)7 -
Exercise: yes, 20 mins yoga
Tracking: yes
Calories: no
Not worrying about pass days in January; consistency and still being here at the end of the month is what counts for me right now 🙂6 -
Congrats to the winners, champions, and to all the new members who signed up for January! It's a big deal to decide to take healthy steps for ourselves and congrats are in order.
Yes x 3 for Friday, starting the near year right!3 -
Checking in! Day one completed. Here for day two. Congrats to Dec winners!2

@Dory_42 So sorry to hear about your doggie. Having lost 3 of my own and working at a doggie daycare for 3 years that had 75 dogs a day, I have had to witness loosing many fury friends. It never gets any easier, but yet, we still continue to do it because they bring us pure unconditional love.
My Goals for 2021:
1) Start working out with my dumbells ( arms are flabby and weak )
2) Start doing my Body Groove dancing tapes again ( so much fun )
3) Start working out with my new kettleball ( this should help me build up some strength )
4) Start doing weighted hula hoop for 10 mins a day ( can trim inches off your waist )
5) Start my sit up routine ( build up core due to back surgery/degenerative disc disease )
6) Loose my last 11 pounds
7) Reach my goal weight of 115
8) Start maintenance
My Accomplishments in 2020:
!) Joined the UAC in October
2) Made the Winners Circle 3 months in a row
3) September 21st joined Myfitnesspal weighing 149, now weigh 126
4) Lost a total of 23 pounds in 100 days
5) Started writing again ( hope to one day publish a book or do a podcast or both )
6) My husband and I finally got to buy a 1935 hotrod ( he re-builds them for others)
7) Became a Grandma on January 1st 2021 ( listed still as 2020, as my daughter was pregnant in 2020 )

I just saw this challenge. Need this accountability, thanks!
Exercise: Yes. Upper body weights 15 min, Yoga 45 min
Tracking: Yes
Calories: No. Didn't have my accountability going yet!
Passes taken: 1/35 -
Sadly, I had to use my first pass day. I'm not determined to let it bother me. It's only 1 day and I have the rest of the month to be successful!
My pass day was for a great reason. I worked from 4-8 am and then spent the next 6 hours making goodies for friends and my father and delivering them and then made a couple meals to freeze for hubby and I. By night I was exhausted!!!! No exercise for me...and with lots of "taste testing," skipping lunch and giving myself a pat on the back for getting things done I overindulged a bit on M&Ms.
Today (Jan 2) is already a great day...got my exercise in, so, hopefully, it will be a win.5 -

No I didn't workout,I was sick

For the members who were in our December challenge I said I would post my calories I was over on my pass day used for New Years Eve. I have had worse, so better than I thought it would be. It was 791 over and if I did ANY exercise that day, which I didn't it could have been alot lower!2

Happy new year! 🎊🥂🌺
I went for a walk with my boys and noticed when we came home that they still have energy, so I challenged them to do this workout with me:

They quit half way, then came back (my oldest had the great idea to put it on a slower speed), while I was stuck with doing all of it 😀. Left me with plenty of calories (over 300, if I logged right), to call it a good day and a good start into 2021! 🙌3 -
@ginadomaszewicz : congratulations on the very beautiful grandchild! 😍 Thank you for sharing your accomplishments and goals! Fantasic weight loss 👏, your determination is inspirational!1

@ginadomaszewicz Congrats on the grand baby! Everyone looks happy and healthy in the photo!
I was also looking at your 2020 list and we have some parallels:
I first joined UAC in October, did Winner Circle Nov and Dec and Champions in Dec. Come back to MFP Sept 14th weighing 153 and New Years day, was 132. Lost 21 lb in 107 days, and became first time Grandma, Jan 2020.
Enjoy your 2021!2 -
