Hey All!

It's good to see some of you are back from a holiday break and ready to get back on track and welcome to the new members! We've got a little over 16 weeks before May 1st rolls around. Let's keep the motivation and not lose sight of what we will look like and how we will feel if we stick to our plans over the next few months. For me, May is the time when I will start seeing friends I don't usually see during the cold winter months. I can't wait to be able to show off the new and improved me, slimmer and more fit! :blush:

Yesterday didn't go as I'd hoped. After the 3 days of no heat, I just couldn't get myself to go out into the cold to run or ride. I napped instead. Ugh.

It's ok though, today is a new day! I WILL run and ride and stay under calories. For the run, I'm going to use the same trick I often have to use...commit to 15 minutes. I can do anything for 15 minutes. Hopefully, it'll lead to more, but if not, I'll be happy that I at least got out the door. I'll do the BWEC immediately when I get home from the run. I didn't get to the grocery store yesterday, so I will do that today.

For our new members and those who may have missed it, here is the BWEC that @rayonrainbows and I have been doing. It only takes a few minutes a day, but I think it's making a difference in my strength. hfip5eckunjb.jpg

    Yes!!! I can definitely recommend the BWEC for an intro to body weight exercises. It only takes a few minutes and it builds up some nice strength! Though I keep deciding to do mine after i get home from an hour long walk which means sometimes I skip it 😝 I'm still on day 13 😂❤️

    I'm still going strong with this dry January and I'm still trying to kick butt until my weigh-in on Thursday 😁

    I have no work today!! So I'd like to do something vaguely productive, but idk what yet.. maybe I'll pull out my paints? Bike ride to a far away beach? Swim? IDK

    Goals today: bike ride, BWEC before the walk, sunset walk, under on cals

  • Didn't exercise yesterday because I was tired and had a headache but worked on some other things I wanted to do. Goals for today:
    - drink 32 oz of water
    - stay under calories
    - yoga

    Good morning,

    The holidays were ROUGH. I'm just now making a return to healthy eating. I enjoyed myself over the holidays and my husband's birthday. I did notice a change in my eating though as I didn't eat as much as I would have before. So that was good!

    I've had my soup and salad for lunch today and planning my dinner.

    Goals for today:
    - Drink more water
    - Track everything

    Need to get back on my daily walking routine. Goal is to start that today.

    Managed to get a bunch of tedious stuff done today that I've been putting off for a while, so that feels good. I ran about 2 miles and did the BWEC day 10 (started there again after not doing it for a few days). So far, I've eaten pretty well and should be under calories, but it's still fairly early! LOL!

    I didn't ride :( It's so dark and cold that it's just not that much fun. Gotta start getting the horses in shape though if I want to run and jump stuff in the spring!

    I finally got a nice bike ride in today 🙏 felt sooooo good!! 🌈🌈 Going to keep making it my daily goal until it becomes a habit 🤓

    There was a break in the weather and I was able to get out and go for my walk. I've come to realize that getting out and going for a walk is important for me, and I need to make that a priority and get away from my desk.

    Eating within my calories, but still working on my water.

    Busy work day today and while I didn’t exactly get excited, it made me forget to eat for the 8h. I only got an early dinner today and I’m feeling great.
    If I get to catch up on sleep, than today was spectacular!
