Lee, enjoyed the icefishing video. That's really roughing it! Haha. Looks like the things they use on the tundra in N. Canada.

Decided to schedule an online Ham exam. Waiting till the pandemic subsides may take forever.

Badly need to declutter my place. Clutter kind of creeps up on you till it starts to take over and nothing gets done because you can't find things that are buried in it. Will do short walks from my door of 1-2 mi. instead of driving 1/2 hr and hiking with winter gear--all time consuming.

Lots of folks ice fish around here, and there's fishing derbies with prizes at various sportsmen's clubs. Many use popup tents and some have shacks towed out onto larger lakes. I bring a lawn chair and make a fire on the ice. Chopping holes with 8-lb. ice chisel warms you up really quick and have to shed layers.

The fire's on a stainless steel screen stretched over a four-legged folding stand. Portable fireplace. We used to use a garbage can lid but it melted through the ice too fast.

    Mornin' gents.

I have tried ice fishing with a friend a few times one winter, easily 15 yrs ago. Unless I kept moving, I just couldn't seem to keep feet and hands warm. We would set up a camp stove and make hot cocoa and some sort of stew. Once we did beer brats and every fisherman nearby came over for one. It was fun, but I was uncomfortable.

It appears like you have a good system, though.

Made a buffalo pheasant pizza last night. Bought pre-made crusts and used the buffalo pheasant I cooked up in slow cooker. I should have taken a picture, it was kinda pretty and very tasty.

    Be OP ;-)

    Good Morning!

Mike, that looks like an awesome setup. I am happy for you that you enjoy that. I enjoy seeing my fire in the fireplace in the living room, or in a fire pit on a warm summer evening.

They are forecasting that we will be in the fifties for a couple of days this week, and then snow again this weekend. I'm glad that we are not having large blocks of polar air this winter.

It is still super busy at work. I hope to get the quarterly tax returns done today, and possibly print W-2 forms tomorrow. The thing about being a small, family run company, is that the bean counter gets to do a lot of the work himself. That's OK. I have a small, but good support team that really helps out with the daily stuff.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

Enjoy MLK Day. Give a thought to the principles he espoused.

Need to do some banking, but don't know whether my credit union is open today, or not.

    Good Morning

Echoing David on MLK. A personal hero of the faith of mine. Seems like we need his wisdom now, more than ever.

Late check in. Heather is in rough shape pain wise and I drove her to an early PT appt. Besides the strain of her hip, she has bad sciatica. PT didn't seem to do much good, but I also don't care where for the place where she is going. She will call the Dr to see what can be done to ease things. So I will be playing nurse Bill for a bit. I use chocolate therapy with her. Does wonders for the spirit.
