Today was the first day since receiving a Fitbit for my birthday that I hit my 250-step goal for all 6 of my active hours (11 a.m. to 5 p.m.)! Not sure how I managed that, since I did a lot of sitting and grading today, but I'll take it.

Still here and on the calorie track, but no exercise and no WC this month.3

Jan 27 and Jan 28 both pass days. Iโve lost count. But I tracked everything both days. Yesterday I got a 20 minute walk in while waiting for my son to finish his orthodontist appointment. But went over on calories. Today, I stayed under budget but got 0 exercise. Not feeling well. Hoping to feel better tomorrow and back on track with UAC heading into February. Congrats to all in the Winners Circle . Youโre an inspiration.5

Fantastic Labs TODAY!
Kidney tests
Liver tests
Blood pressure
ALL Cholesterol #โs!!!!!!!! Oatmeal worked๐
Blood Glucose
All other Bloodwork
Many of test values are The Best I have ever seen them.
PASS DAY 1๏ธโฃ as I fell into a gleeful celebration...which now regret & has me feeling a little nauseous... my body doesnโt do this well.
Shocked at sodium level & protein levels. Wont do this again.
Tracked all
Calories O V E R
Steps 8,835 - glad I did that!
Oh my gosh, I still canโt believe my labs!
๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
Back on track now... so those labs remain good next time!๐๐๐
The Labs (and my eating today) validate the time & effort I put in every day to track important macros & micro levels for my body. Now I KNoW it makes a difference & I feel a renewed inspiration to continue doing so - even when other folks donโt need to.

Yesterday was Bailey's day at the vet for a checkup, toenails trimmed (they're deadly), and rabies shot. Her weight increased from 62 to 84 lbs. in one year.
Today was Hoss's day. I had to leave him there at 8 a.m. and picked him up at 2 p.m. He had a checkup, a rabies shot, and his first ever spa day, which included toenails trimmed, ears cleaned, and a bath. He was not happy when I got him. He tried digging out of the run and kennel and broke a toenail to the quick. And he was afraid of the blow dryer and was delivered outside to me damp (it is chilly). I'm not sure he had enough water while there because he must have drank a gallon when he got home. He drinks a lot of water. His weight went from 104 to 126 lbs.
Since both gained 22 lbs., it's time for some intervention. @RangerRickL can my dogs join UAC, too?
I have one cat that is prone to gaining weight and one that I have to monitor to make sure he is holding his weight. I weigh them regularly on an infant scale. :P1 -

I haven't taken any pass days since being on this challenge and have faithfully tracked my food and stayed within my calorie budget every day. I believe that puts me in the winner's circle ๐.
Also, I have lost 10 lbs since Jan 1, 13 lbs since Christmas, and 24 lbs since my peak in September.7 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? yes, treadmill 21 mins / 1.11 mi
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? yes
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? yes

I barely did 20 minutes because my knees still hurt though they are better than yesterday. This was all caused by too much squatting while was rearranging the cabinets on Tuesday. Food is now better organized so I can see everything so it will be a net benefit going forward.5 -

Hmm... strange ๐ค. I thought I had posted on today's "performance". Workout done (and it's really the final countdown, I habe 2 more to go) + a walk with hubs. I ate all my exercise calories back (pre-ate, tbh ๐), but that's okay, since this "maintainance" and guestimating seems to be working well. ๐
Truth is, I started a longer post, because I was touched by your messagesโฃ However, I got distracted, the busy, not to mention that I have to fight this autocorrector which prefers to see me as a "motherboard" when I write that I am a mother ๐คฃ. Strange times ๐. So THANK YOU! ๐บ๐ค

Hang in there!! {{{HUGS}}}1 -
@bellesouth18 I got raised in a family culture in which "food is love'. That makes it an intrafamily offense to not eat to excess when someone has prepared the meal.
You may be like my family. In the case of your dogs, their health depends on less "caloric love."
One of my mentors often stated, "We cannot manage what we don't measure." You may want to add your dog report inside of you daily post. We will cheer you on!!

@ginadomaszewicz Hi Gina,
I just sent a PM to you about the two books. Check to see if you got that PM.
In your post today, I am not sure how to understand what you meant about Pass Days.
I'll check your post on January 29. I am writing this the evening of January 29.

@RangerRickL Thanks for your helpful insight with my dogs. The vet told me that we aren't giving them too much dog food. However--no more licking/prewashing the plates, pots, utensils, etc., and to cut down on their reward treats (the tiny Milkbones) and people food treats (a bite of cheese here, half a hush puppy there...). Time will tell!
I'm taking February off, I think. My body is having a hard time doing some of my "exercising."2 -
