    Good morning! :) Happy weekend all... Lots of work for me today, so my weekend will start tomorrow.

    Paree-- Cool! I LOVE numbers haha. Thanks for the breakdown. It actually is motivating.... I GOT THIS! I'm still aiming for 160.

    The pounds have been shredding off this week even though I'm menstrual and even though I ate/drank over my calorie goal 2 days this week. This morning I was at 174.6!!! I'm not logging 175 into MFP because I know I didn't eat enough yesterday and probably woke up a little dehydrated. But if that number comes back again tomorrow I'll make it MFP official.. 25 lbs!! feeling great about that.

    The veggie lady continues to be my favorite person. She once again directly confronted me about my weight loss and asked me to detail for her exactly how much i've lost and how lmao :D:D bold move but it does feel good that it's noticable enough for others to point out..

    I didn't do ANY exercise yesterday except like 2 hours of hardcore napping, so I do want to make sure I get in some exercise today. It'll probably just be a sunset walk, but I'm okay with that.

    I really enjoyed drinking tea as I was working last night, so I'm going to make that a goal for today as well.

    My calorie goal today is just to eat under my TDEE. I kind of want some kind of treat, so we'll see what happens ;)

    ps I'm on my laptop this morning so the post looks fine Paree -- it looks like you took a screenshot of your OP and uploaded the screenshot maybe? not a bad idea considering how easily long posts tend to disappear when posting on this forum :D but anyway it's easily readable *shrug*
  • Did one set of strength training today to ease into it. Will do 2 next time and work up to 3. I was surprised to find I could do about the same on the bicep curl as I did when I was working out regularly. Must be lugging up all those groceries to my apartment. 😅

    This whole bp thing is really frustrating me. It's like I was making a lot of healthier choices already but now there are more things I can't have. I didn't plan to be that intense with things. I know I probably just need to do more research but I feel like the only thing I can eat is vegetables 😕 😬. I think I'm taking it too personally. Rant over.

    Today:
    -walk 30 minutes ✔
    - 1 set of strength training ✔
    - print pics for vision board✔
    - drink 32 oz of water
    - fruit and veg
    - stay under calories
    - meditate 10 minutes

    The wind finally died down after 4 crazy days and I took the dog for an hour walk. He loved it , but now he’s passed out on his favorite couch. He only needs me, a blanket and some Netflix to live life this weekend 😁

    Tonight it’s supposed to start snowing and continue into tomorrow, and I’m hoping for more than 2 inches 🤞So, so, so excited!

    I considerably upped my vegetables this week and although I didn’t impress the scale , I am very happy with this change.

    I'm glad I was able to get a post up today! I had typed out a long post and "poof!", it disappeared! I typed it all out again and copied it to my clipboard to be safe. When I went to post, I got a message saying it would be posted once approved. I never had that happen before??? That's why I just took a screenshot. Weird.
    Anyway, it's been a cold, rainy and WINDY day today. Really sh*tty, actually! @GabiV125 I'm glad the wind died down for you and hope you get some snow! Yay for veggies! I've been experimenting with sticking everything in the air fryer (green beans, cauliflower, broccoli, zucchini, brussel sprouts) and am loving my new snacks!
    @Katebook309yahoocom940 good for you on the strength training, but sorry about the BP. I hope you figure out a way to control it without giving up too much.
    @rayonrainbows I need a veggie lady! LOL! I'm so happy to hear of your progress!

    All I did today was drive up to a lake I've never been to, sat in my truck and did some journaling. My therapy sessions have been pretty intense lately and I just felt the need to go see nature and get some thoughts out. Despite the crappy weather, it was a nice little outing.
