    Good Morning!

More snow expected today. Still very buttasscold. We are working our way down to a forecasted -14 temp for Sunday morning. It has not been this cold for this long in many years. They are comparing this coming weekend to 1989. That is the year that Connie and I got married. It was very bitter cold as we tried to move into our first apartment together.

Slow progress continues to be made on year end. We have too much going on with daily stuff, which is good, but I also need it to slow down a hair.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

Had a great time in the Olympics, yesterday - and I did use my snowshoes! Hiked up the Skokomish River Trail. Covered a total of 10.7 miles - three of them on snowshoes. Climbed 1,162 feet. Saw no on else until I was 1/4 mile from the car on the way back.

It is 24 degrees, this morning. That's the coldest we have had this winter. The forecasts for the next few days are all over the place. We are predicted to get from 3 to 20 inches of snow. Depends on whose model is being used. We are supposed to get snow, starting tomorrow morning and until Friday morning, then another heavier wave Saturday and Sunday. Real issue, here, is that there is a lack of snow removal equipment to deal with the roads - an almost no one has snow blowers for driveways and sidewalks. It's all my fault, for declaring that it looked like this year would be snow-free.

    Good Morning

Sounds like a perfect winter hike Dave. Our weather is pretty calm again, yesterdays rain was a bit of a joke. Off to take DW to PT and then try a drive if she can tolerate it. There will be coffee at some point. Today's WI should go well.
