    Good Morning BBB.
I wrote a comment yesterday and did not hit post - arg.
Lee - if we did not have the opportunity to get this "pick" male Toller from strong hunting parents I would be begging for one of AB's pups. We were raised with a Springer - best dog ever!
    Do good out there everyone.

    Mornin' BBB.

Ice covering everything this morning. Still getting a light rain. Suppose to reach 46 degrees today. Heat wave! Back to sub freezing temps tomorrow. Big snow coming Thursday night.

    Ugh.

Very excited for your DTR puppy, Raine. That looks like a really nice litter.

Good luck with your Doc, Skip.

    Morning BBB

Huge thunderstorms last night with tornados not too far away (no weather alert...need to check phone settings) but the sun woke me. Hooray first time in almost a week it's going to be sunny.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Good luck with the Doc appt. Skip. Good luck getting there.
    • DSIL is in Waco where it got down to 4° last night. They don't have power, heat or water. That had to be a fun night. Hopefully they'll get power back today. How's things in Austin Lou?
    • Church Council meeting this afternoon and then a Prayer Vesper at a local nursing home.
    • I'm enjoying the new phone. I sent the old one back yesterday for credit. I hope that goes as planned.
    • Stay safe, stay warm, stay dry BBB.

    Good morning BBB crew.

Our region is just a cold, wet, slushy mess, now. But the roads are clear, so that's a good thing.

Our pastor is 8-months pregnant. I was fooling around in the shop, last week and turned a baby rattle (cherry and walnut, with dried beans inside). Pretty easy, but a number of steps involved in making a thin, closed hollow form. I'm dropping it off at the church, this morning. My contribution to the ongoing, distant baby shower.

That will be the COOLEST rattle ever, Dave! What a thoughtful gift!
Well, shoot, Sam ... I guess I missed my chance then.
I'm impressed with your discipline on your new treadmill, Mary! YAY for you!
Oh no, Steph! Tornados are scary! Stay safe!
I had Jim order your dad's book, Skip. I'm looking forward to reading it and then talking to you about it and about your side of it all.

Dd24's hubby had to have emergency surgery yesterday. They thought it was his appendix, but it ended up being some tissue from his colon that had twisted and died, forming a mass that was causing pain. They removed it and are keeping him for observation now. She said that he's hurting today, which says a lot because he is not one to mention when he's uncomfortable. So it must be pretty awful.

We had about 5" or 6" last night ... could've been worse. I told my Guide to stay home (she's only 24, like one of MY babies, and lives almost an hour away), and then we had more people than expected. It went well, though. Except that the Saturday team had left the floors a mess. A good friend of mine in Iowa said that the ACTUAL temp there this morning was -17, with a -30 "feels like" temp. Our 15* right now is like a heat wave compared to that!

DS1 in Denton TX lost power for a little bit, got an inch or two of snow at most. But UNT campus is closed now for the rest of the week with bursting water pipe issues, what a mess.

    Be safe out there folks!
