    Going to try to catch up on the 200+ emails in my inbox. Ugh.

    Still cold and drifting snow here.

    We had about 3 inches of snow yesterday. We haven’t had this much snow since I don’t know when.

    Taking mom to get her second vaccine tonight.

    Date night tomorrow at a swanky steakhouse

    Cold and still snowing here. About 4 more inches so far.

    Funny how when it's 65 degrees on a sunny spring day, it feels wonderful. But if your thermostat is set a 65 degrees and it 20 degrees outside, you are cold and layer up on clothes.

    Nose to the grindstone.

    WI today, probably won't be pretty.

    Good morning.

    There are some issues with heat and hot water in the complex today. I hate heat, but no hot water. My friend has neither. So, we're expecting things to get taken down for a couple hours today.

    Last night, Cecilia and I decided to go the taco place near the house - the only thing that was open because nobody else wanted to risk having their power turned back off - and she took a fall on an icy patch on the stairs. She's going to have some muscle pain when she gets up this morning.

    I believe someone told me once that temps are what one becomes accustomed to; but the older I get the less I like cold weather especially damp cold.
    For those going out Enjoy Date Night, DMIL is back and believes she has to tag alone or we have to get her a sitter; as bad as having little ones again.

    • Hoping Cecilia is okay this morning.
    • For some reason I've had more than the normal USPS/Fedex/UPS traffic this week. Some of the packages are taking extended stays in hubs or taking crazy routes due to the weather.
    • Remember my friend who had the nasty stroke a couple of years ago? He passed away on Sunday. There is a service on Saturday and I really should, and I want to go but... I'm a little nervous.
    • Enjoy date night at the swanky steakhouse Kelly. I am looking forward to things returning to normal, hopefully soon.

    Raining again today so I'm off to do stair laps.

    Nephew got second in state wrestling and team got 2nd too.

    My former coworker is visiting this weekend. He plane has been delayed twice already so eta late afternoon instead of late morning. She should have driven and would have been here sooner. Coming from Kentucky.

    I winced just reading about Cecilia's fall. Hope she feels OK, today.

    We're still cooler than normal, with a snowy yard, but the roads and most of the sidewalks are clear. Into cold rain, now. Can't wait for spring.

    Dennis, I recall, has it been 2yrs .....my sympathies. You'd be ok to go..Mask up. Stay apart and it'll be okay. But I understand your fear...

    All kinds of water issues, in TX... ds1 no water on day 3 or 4. But electricity. Internet in and out. Campus closed til at least Monday.
    The water break in his complex is the owners issue. So not city of Denton water depts.problem. Apt mgr says private contractor should show up "sometime"?
    Yikes. Has 10 gal for flushing, a case to drink. No washing dishes or anything. And when it comes on he'll have the boil order.

    Good luck on the puppy find. If I ever get another it can't be another big shedder. My housework cut in half with no pets. But I live labs so much...they shed. Golden Retrievers too Dave... got a shark vac?
