    Good Morning!

My doctor's visit went well yesterday. This was my annual physical, so that I can keep getting drugs. He is keeping me on the Meloxicam, and I am changing my anxiety med to Buspar. I don't have the lab results, but it was a normal visit.

I am glad that our weather is going to start moderating now. It was still zero this morning, but it is supposed to get into the low 20s again today. No real melting yet, but it is supposed to get into the 30s this weekend. After all we have been through, they say it can get up to 62 on Tuesday. You gotta love the pendulum, although the pendulum got stuck for two weeks.

    Have a great day!

Wow zero to 60 in just a few days. Sounds like your weather has the vroom of a sports car Steve!.
Gosh Dave this whole vaccination thing is a huge undertaking and different everywhere.
We were fortunate to get appointments for the over 75 crowd at a fairgrounds site in Central Oregon (Redmond/Bend area). We are flying back to Redmond this morning later in a very small 8 passenger turboprop plane that we got a decent ticket deal on. My brother in an assisted living place in Iowa got his second shot yesterday and so far seems fine except tired.
Out weather is similar to Dave's with the snow pretty much all gone.

I loved watching a wonderful 100 year old Kirkland WA lady who was a USO performer and still tap dances albeit sitting in a chair. She celebrated her birthday and got her second shot.

Gosh Lee you are sounding achy and almost ole guy grumpy in your body. Hang in there.

    Mornin' gents.

Woke up much better today. I'm guessing was having a bit of a flare of whatever it is that I have going on yesterday.

Although I stress ate yesterday, so today's WI won't be pretty.

As an essential worker, I'm eligible for shots, but can't get an appointment any where near me.

    Be OP ;-)

    Morning.

State vaccine appointment website crashed when they opened it up to 65+, so I called town public health office yesterday and they called back saying they can't schedule me quit yet, but will call again on Tuesday to set up a vaccine date for me. Good enuf.

Eldest DD, a nurse, said she was real sick after her 2nd vaccine dose, but only lasted one day and she was better. Aches, diarrhea, slept 24 hours.

I read WHO is now looking into Ivermectin as a COVID treatment, and Bill Gates announced they're funding a trial in multiple countries. NIH still noncommittal and urging caution, but at least not completely opposed anymore to using for COVID. Belgium national pharmacy is urging country-wide use as prophylactic and treatment, says could eliminate COVID in 6 weeks if leaders would apply themselves to it. Call me crazy, but I thinks there's more to come.

Snow turned out a lot less than expected--maybe 2"-- but enough maybe to XC-ski on. Haven't gone yet this year, so I will wax up and head out.

    Stay warm, everyone who's cold.

    Glad you are better Lee,
Pray Steve's blood test come back in good range and are able to turn books over to company's CPA
We are scheduled for our second vaccine shot Monday, in other parts of state they are saying their supplies are being held up due to storms in other parts of country; hope we get them as scheduled

    Good morning gentlemen.

We are warming slowly. As a cold little pocket in our neighborhood, our yard is still largely snow-covered. This is a classic La Nina winter: cold and wet. The weather has messed up the vaccination program, too. They couldn't transport vaccine, so they have had to reschedule a lot of second shots - pushing back the availability of first shots, too.

I spent six hours in the shop, yesterday working on a really large bowl. When I finished it, I posted some photos on Facebook and - jokingly - said that I had no place to store it and the first $100 offer would buy it. Five minutes later I got a message asking to buy it. She'll come pick it up Saturday, That was a surprise.

    Good Morning

Well that was pretty cool on the Bowl, Dave. I guess you are now to be considered a local artisan.

I was able to sleep in a bit after a very stiff achy day yesterday, though PT helped with extra stretching and cupping. I hope all who are experienced Winter's wrath are through the worst of it. As we begin to plan to move further north in a couple years, we talk about the weather quite a bit. Not much on the schedule today. I should have a tutoring session today if she doesn't cancel. Just catching up on the Australian Open, doing my exercise, my scheduled walk and, the seemingly endless list of things I am behind on.
