Hmmm...02.21.2021. Must mean something.
Got to see DS & GSs ages 3 and 6 who were in the area, and pulled them in my icefishing sleds latched in tandem around the yard. Nice, quick visit.
I need to get my food intake under control again.0 -
Good morning gentlemen.
Glad you completed your trek for vaccine No. 2, Bob. A friend gave me a number to call this week to try to get appointments for No. 1. We'll see.
Sold that big bowl, yesterday. Felt a bit sad as it went out the door. I feel possessive about the nicer pieces I turn, even as I run out of places to put them. Am I becoming a hoarder? I guess my balance point is to be willing to sell, but not expend a lot of energy on marketing.
I too need to focus more on my eating, Mike. I ate a big bowl of gumbo and rice, last night. It was good, but calorie-packed. My weight has been plateaued for a couple weeks.0 -
Mornin' gents.
It was indeed a beautiful piece, Dave. You truly have a gift.
(((Gumbo))) I have been jonesing for gumbo for the last two weeks. And paella. (((sigh)))
Veterinarians commonly use buspirone in cats for anxiety, Steve. Hope it works well for you. Seems to be one of the milder anxiolytic meds.
I was up a pound Friday. Ugh. I suck.
Be OP ;-)

Good Morning!
Bob, Yikes! I'm glad for you that you got your shot. I really want one, but I think I am still a couple of months out.
Lee, thank you. I think this new med will help. In the past, my meds have focused more on depression. My counselor thinks I need to shift that thinking to anxiety. She calls me a "worrier".
I lost 1.8 pounds this past week! That puts me at 8.1 lost so far this year.
I am on a liquid diet today, as I start my colonoscopy prep. Since Connie says I'm full of "it", perhaps I'll drop another couple of pounds. I have to report at 7:30 tomorrow morning for an 8:30 procedure. I'm on the three year plan as my mom had colorectal cancer, and they found polyps in me twice.
Have a great day!

Good Morning
Steve, you are having a fun week. Finish up the huge Y/E package and straight into Colonoscopy prep. Fun times! Nice work on the scale though, perhaps it will also prove Connie right.
Bob, quite an adventure for the shot. Still trying to get Heather scheduled. They want schools open but have a limited amount of vaccines available for teachers. You just have to keep trying each morning to see if slots have opened up.
My back pain finally eased last night and I slept through the night and this spike is hopefully over. I am good to go again. Up watching my recording of the Men's Finals from Australia. After streaming Church, we will head off to somewhere for an exciting 15 minute walk and lunch. Last Sunday's 10 min on the trail has us eager for more. I am hoping Heather can handle 15. She is still waiting for insurance approval on her MRI. Between Drs and Insurance, I am amazed0 -
Hang in there Dave. I don't think it matters where you get your shot in Washington as the costs are all covered anyway. It is a bloody nightmare in the Portland metro area to get scheduled etc. I tell you the "Fly boy" (US Air Force) who gave us our first shot was wonderful and the "retired" army nurse who gave us the second one was so warm and friendly too. The travel was an adventure but the shots were great.
Oh and I ate half a 12" pizza last night in sorta "celebration" of getting shot #2. I am ok with that.
Stay warm and safe all!0
