Exercise: yes, bike ride 25 minutes, cardio 15 minutes.
Tracking: estimating, bit iffy.
Calories: over
Pass days used: 1/3 - but still in the Winners Circle
Took a pass day as planned. The game pie was delicious, the chocolate cake was heavenly!
I did have a stab at tracking and the calories might have been ok if I had been able to exercise more but my arthritis was playing up this afternoon. But as I’ve mentioned before I don’t need to lose weight so a few hundred calories is no big deal.
@MaltedTea Funny you should use the word “stoic” – I caught part of a discussion on the radio earlier this week where stoicism (the original ancient philosophical school) was being discussed and it resonated with me. I have also been reading a book describing some of the teachings of the Dalai Lama, and found that useful.
One of the unexpected effects of the pandemic has been a much greater discussion about mental health, in particular dealing with loss and grief. So many stories even worse than ours. I am working on it.

February 28!!
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, 21 min of walking.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes, 1,112/1,200
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes, 1,900 ml of fluid, I might drink a little before sleeping to push it to 2000 ml.
Pass days: 3/3
This month achievement:
-Exercising: 27/28 ( it's all thanks to UAC)
-Uncontrollable eating : 1/28
-Made it to the winner's circle
-Achieved my goal of 17 min of stairs climbing.
What I didn't achieve:
-I didn't lose weight as much as I wanted, but clearly this is not my fault, so hopefully will get better results next month.
My March goal:
Burn 30,000 calories.
I included yoga in my schedule but not much, so my focus will be on one goal for now.

Just 45 mins of yoga today, calories and tracking good.7

Happy to announce I dropped another 4 pounds this month! It is always so EXCITING on the last day of the month because I do NOT weigh until the end! I have lost a total of 33 pounds now and am only 10 pounds away from the weight I was when I married my husband 33 years ago! I just noticed 33 pounds for 33 years! LOL
Date: 2/28
Exercise: Yes, treadmill for 60 mins, speed 4.3, and walk outside with Buckley for 20 mins, a burned total of 462 calories!
Tracked: Yes
Calories: Yes
Pass Days: None left12 -
I forgot to mention....Congrats to ALL the winners!4
-
Three yeses....but felt a bit under the weather yesterday so decided that today would be a rest day - no exercise bike (first time in 2021 I think) but I did walk for an hour with my husband. Not exercising meant less calories which I didn’t plan brilliantly so going to bed a bit on the hungry side but it’s weird, I never wake up hungry.....makes me wonder how real hunger is sometimes! Well done to all in winners circle, I’m looking forward to March!9

February: Level passed. 🤗
I weighed myself after the catostrophic number of calories I ingested yesterday and let’s just say I’m not logging that weight today 😂
I did not lose a ton in February - only 3.5lbs (totally disregarding today’s weigh in which had me losing nothing 😂). Trying to figure out what I did so differently in January since I lost 8lbs in Jan - or if it’s just my body hitting a small plateau. Either way I plan on stepping it up in March. It’s my month! (People abbreviate Maryann down to “Mar” and March down to “Mar” so in my brain it’s always me for the month. Lol. Also clovers are always everywhere and four leaf clover finding is my jam.) Anyhoo - I digress - my point is I figure if it’s “my” month, I should probably kick some booty. I’d like to see the 170’s (186 currently). I think it’s doable!6 -
Congrats to all who made the list and too those who didn’t we are all here for the same reasons do CONGRATS to all!!
Did spin logged and stayed under5 -
@lesdarts180 Let's be philosophy nerds together 🤓 I'm circling around the school of thoughts generated by Artistotle's contribution to "first principles"
---|---|---|---
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? YES | Bret Contreras' Strong Curves "At Home Workout" (30), Stretching (15) TOTAL: 45 min
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? YES | Base + 231
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? YES
---|---|---|---
Personal Bonus: Did I meet my protein macro for the day (40%)? YES | 40%
Pass Days Used: --
Ending the month at my newfound ideal macro spread for the day (40 protein/40 carbs/20 fat), which I hit once before this month. Just find there's less brain fog at this spread and, my word, I could do with less of that in life lol
I typically look at accomplishments every first of the month, but if I'm to think of one now, it's the fact I didn't use a single pass day this month.
See you in March, everyone!8 -
Yes x 3
3️⃣ Pass days left
See y’all in March! 😂8 -
