I wonder what is your favorite video and why?

Mine so far is Jane Fonda step aerobic because it has three different instructors, I feel like I am not doing same thing all time and get my hr 75-80 % so I am burning those calories. It is easy to remember also.

The Reebok Ol’School Gin Miller one. I need to have great music accompany my exercises - any exercise - and the drummers do it for me. If anyone has suggestions with great music - please share. Plus....it’s still ain’t ez for me! :)

Christi Taylor - Mission Possible. She has such a fun personality. She has a number of very creative videos....but most are beyond me.

Good music - one I found is Shapely Girl; Let's Get Stepping by Debra Mazda. This one is almost too simple though. I don't use it a lot.

    I love the Firm workouts.

The Body Sculpting Systems (BSS) are my favorites. I have a special fondness for BSS2 and BSS3 sets.

Some of the older, and more evil workouts such as Standing Legs are awesome (and very painful next day).
The older workouts require you to look past the tights and leotards though :) but the workouts are really tough.

Hi. I've been off/on with exercise based on my off/on back issues :). Every time I would go to the gym, there would be step classes. I am totally (no kidding!) uncoordinated so my attempts at doing it with advanced steppers was comical... I mean..."around the world" just threw me and I don't know what the other moves were called..... Anyway, being determined, I just bought a cheap bench and a Gin Miller Basic Step DVD. I now have the very very basic steps mastered. YEA!!

I figure I'll work on it for another week and find a some youtube videos. Suggestions for the uncoordinated are welcome!

I swear by Jenny Ford, she has step workouts in a variety of lengths and difficulty levels and best of all, she doesn't shout at you!

You will build up coordination. The step really builds ankle strength, esp if you're using dumbells in the workout.

My yoga balance poses dramatically improved when I dusted off my old step videos.

Oooh! That reminds me. Jenny Ford had a Halloween themed zombie step workout in past years. I'll have to see if I can dig that one up.

I mentioned above that I had back issues. Just released from dr after having back surgery. I had been in pain for almost 6 mo so I was ready for the surgery. Now I'll check out all those step suggestions!

Good morning! I recently joined MFP and have started working out regularly again. Step is definitely my favorite. I have several Cathe Friedrich videos, but lately I've been doing free workouts on YouTube. The Gymbox has some step workouts, Ashli and Dana are two of my favorites.

    Happy Monday!
