Habits rule us, but we can replace unhealthy habits. There is only one way to get rid of a bad habit. It cannot be willed away. It will not just go away, but it can be replaced by healthier habits. Habits don't just disappear in one week; or the proverbial 7 days (that may work if you move your wastebasket to a new spot). Let's work together on the basic healthy habits. Some of the members are at the guru stage and others at the newbie stage. This is a safe neighborhood and we play nice in the neighborhood. Welcome and let's move forward together!! RangerRickL, or just Rick P.S. I tried multiple times to post a nice welcome image from my PC and then my iPhone. Unfortunately, I could not get any images to load. I hope that is not a new tweak to the MFP system.

@mshawski I would LOVE the idea of having a book club, and weird you mentioned it because I was thinking of doing the same thing this month! I LOVE reading books too! I am currently reading the title SURROUNDED BY IDIOTS by Thomas Erikson, and it is great so far and found out I am the color YELLOW! We ALL have a color, and it helps you communicate better with people if you know what color they are, very INTERESTING!

So this is busy season. My boss decided he was buying donuts and lunch today. I skipped the donuts and managed to keep things within my calories. A couple came in to pick up taxes today. After they got home, they called to tell us one of them received a voicemail while they were out that he tested positive for COVID. (I wasn’t exposed directly but why did they come in when they knew they were waiting for test results?) I came home and decontaminated. I was taking clothes down the stairs to do a load of laundry and ... skipped a step. Nothing broken. Some scrapped skin just under my right knee and on the top of my foot, and what looks like the beginning of a nice bruise halfway down the shin. Icing tonight. My goals might need to be revised. But... Exercise: yes Tracking: yes Calories: yes Passes used: 0 I feel like I beat the day! We will see what tomorrow brings.
