Good Morning!
Connie speaks tonight for MADD. With COVID, the number of speaking engagements has really fluctuated. In my case, where I have volunteered at DUI checklanes, those have stopped almost completely during COVID. Law enforcement agencies are moving more to saturation patrols, and volunteers are not needed for those. I could press our Kansas Director to help me get set up to speak to pre-shift roll calls, but I want to get a shot first.
We are having beautiful weather in Kansas. We are still feeling the affects of the big winter storm from a couple of weeks ago. Logistics are almost back to normal, but are still lagging.
Prayers for Heather as she gets started again with her work. Prayers for both Bill and Heather with pain management.
I see no improvement with my hip. Just waiting now for the MRI on Friday.
Have a great day!

Good morning gentlemen.
Amen, Lee.
One of the positive side effects of the pandemic, at least up here in Washington, is a tremendous drop in the number of DUIs. The bars aren't open, so they're doing their drinking at home. Not a fair tradeoff, though, as more people, by far, have died from COVID 19. Maybe there will be lasting changes in people's habits, though. We can hope.
Spent some time in the shop, yesterday, grinding and heat-treating the little drop-point hunter I am making. Calming - even when I screw things up.
Signs of spring: the first trees are throwing out their pollen, here around Puget Sound. Among them are hazel nuts. My sinuses can tell. The 9-month allergy season has begun again.0 -
Good Morning
Heather did ok at work, just a bit sore. But when she got home she got a call that her insurance approval went through and is being scheduled for Friday for her nerve block. Good News. Conf calls, emails and Miracle Friends stuff today along with my big 15 min walk and exercise.
I remain amazed at Connie’s heart0 -
A bit warmer today, 30's and sunny, so we are out of the bitter arctic blast now that blew through yesterday.
Cleaning, drying and lubing my icefishing gear for next year. It's still winter but the ice is weakening and melting around the shore. Could go north a couple hundred miles, but not travelling with COVID around. No pollen for a few months yet here. Mid April is when we first hear the spring peepers, and mid May the leaves come out.0 -
Happy Humping,
Pollen season is in full production here
High's in 60's with only slight chance of rain Saturday for next week
Pray those ailing are improving0
