I had to do this earlier. Logging all my meals earlier in the day keeps me at bay
Exercise is not a problem. Because, I am doing it with my best friend (hubby). No opting out for me! He won't take it. Secretly, I like it because then I have not problem writing Yes for exercise.8 -

I’ve decided to cut down on the cardio exercise and increase my base calories. Various reasons: first – my arthritis has been playing up recently; second – I could do with a small weight increase. Third, I think I may have been getting a bit obsessive about exercise. I’m a little old lady so my base maintenance calories are quite low even when set to moderately active (about 1400) so when I was trying to lose weight, I got into the habit of doing quite a lot of exercise. I find now that I’m very fidgety – not sure why but probably a combination of the pandemic lockdown and my son’s ill health. I have a fitness tracker which I only use for steps but I’ve been getting a bit obsessed about reaching and exceeding my goal of 12,000 steps every day.
I need to try to relax – get back into reading, get the knitting out or something as an alternative to crazy exercise.

Today was a tough day, had visitors, wasn't feeling well in general. On top of that, I'm not sure why but it's getting harder to eat 1200 calories, I just try to push it to 1000 by all means. Is it because of all the walking? Or maybe my stomach got smaller? What do you guys think?
Hence for what I mentioned, I was supposed to do yoga today, but didn't find time for it, and I usually walk between 2 to 3 hours a day, but wasn't feeling very well.
@RangerRickL we missed you today! Hope everything is fine?
@oh_jackie Good luck, wish everything go perfectly well as planned and reach your goal fast 🏃🏃🏼♀️
@Chinkiri @MadisonMolly2017 so inspiring 😍 thanks for telling such great quotes 💜💜
Goodnight to you all 🥰

I'm not a big fan of podcasts, but, someone here mentioned "Half Size Me" awhile back and I have listened to a few, only because my daughter does a podcast "The Lumpy Mother" and she's been encouraging me to listen to podcasts.
So....the first few were OK, interesting, but nothing that rocked me. Until yesterday. Holy macaroni she was speaking to me! After my rant last week about gaining 2 pounds, binge eating, not losing any weight during February - let me tell you - I have new energy right now. I've actually listened to it twice through. Here's the cliff notes - hope it helps someone else too.- Learn to maintain. If you stay at the same weight for a month - celebrate it because you're maintaining! If all you do is go up and down and up and down, you're never learning how to maintain a weight. Better to stay at a weight than have the pounds creep back on.
- She talked about people (like me) who binge/overindulge, gain a few/several pounds, and then it takes a week or more to get it back off. She tracks her weight often and now understands exactly how her body will respond after she indulges. Because she knows exactly the outcome of indulging, she's not surprised what happens the next week or two. Therefore, (and I LOVE this line) you don't become angry, bitter, or resentful when your body does exactly what it always does after indulging. You knew going in what it was going to do. That is EXACTLY what I was last week - angry, bitter and resentful.
Really, I'm not expressing this very well - but for me, this really hit home. I did start weighing myself every day (which I know isn't a good idea for everybody) but I'm doing it to understand my own body's natural swings in order to avoid getting all angry, bitter and resentful about it next time.
It's Episode 473 if anyone wants to listen. Maybe I'm the only one who thought "wow" listening to it - and then listened to it a 2nd time taking notes! But if it helps someone else - then yay.
No passes so far this month - I am laser focused on being in the Winners Circle!16 -

Missing @RangerRickL also... hmmmm. Hope all is OK.
Loving all the great ideas and inspirations. It's nice to see a lot of different perspectives because face it, losing or maintaining is quite individualized for each of us so having a LARGE tool box is a great advantage.7 -

@biketheworld You expressed yourself well! Glad the podcast worked for you. And kudos to your daughter and her friend, their podcast looks fun (they caught my attention at "Poopoo bubbles" lol)

Today was a pretty lousy day, because I see it all gray to ⚫, make mistakes and 🎈 things (in my mind) when I am tired. Why I woke up early on my own after going to bed late, that's a puzzle to me. 🤷♀️
I did go for 2 🚶♀️, though, and also 🏋♀️. Stayed under calories, because I fixed it at dinner, by not having any. 🤭7 -

@biketheworld I weigh myself everyday too except during my weekly. I know if will be up that week, so I don't need to see it 😂. I've also learned I am always up the day after weight training since my muscles are holding on to water.
I was sore and tired from yesterday's glutes workout ,so I took today as a recovery day and just did 20 minutes yoga My whoop had my recovery at 21%, which is the lowest it's been since I've gotten it. Hoping I feel more energetic and rested tomorrow and can maybe tackle both my upper body and full body workouts. Skipped the protein shake today so was fine on calories and tracking.

I haven't had a diet break since the 2nd week in December. When I overeat it usually means that I am past due. Will wait a week then start eating at maintenance for a week. In the past year I have only had 2 diet breaks so now is a good time to schedule one since I have 15 pounds left to lose and am in the healthy weight range for my height.11 -
