    4 days until we pick up our pup - it still doesn't feel real yet. Pic of yesterday's adventure.

    Long day yesterday...... never left the house. another long one tee'd up today. We'll see. Gonna have to do something different. This isn't sustainable.

    Good morning BBB crew.

    Thank you all for your b-day wishes. We had a quiet day, yesterday. DS, and DDIL had meetings, so they are bringing the grandkids over this evening for supper - ribs from a favorite barbecue place and cake from a German bakery.

    Love the ongoing photos of Buck (I have always loved Jack London).

    I won the Moderna lottery and will be getting my shot this afternoon.

    Okay. Not really a lottery. Just feels like it since there are a limited number of slots, a ton of people playing and a random chance of selection. The only difference is pre-qualification.

    I pet-sat a cat named Winston once. Never again.

    Jack London books were some of the first chapter books I ever read ... I was probably about 8. I loved them!

    Yay, Lou! It looks like my age group might be opening up later this month here.
    It's supposed to be 64 here, Sam ... we're almost as warm as Georgia! But then back down by the end of the week, where your warmth will probably last. It's fake spring in Michigan.

    I've been slowly cutting my hair for the past week or so ... every couple days, I've taken another inch or so off. I think I want it shorter, but I want to do it really incrementally to figure out exactly how short. I have an appointment next week Friday (on my birthday), and I'll have her straighten it all up then. I haven't had it this short in well over a decade! I feel so brave. :smiley:
