    Good Morning!

We've had over two inches of rain this weekend. We needed it, but that is a lot. It is supposed to rain some more today, and Thursday.

I have been off the steroids for a couple of days now. I still have a lot of pain, but way better than before. I also still have some of the "tingles" or asleep feeling in my knee/thigh. I do see the chiropractor today. I am starting to lift light weights again, and I have signed up for online Tai Chi. We'll see how that goes compared to yoga.

The cool thing is that I have lost almost three pounds in two days. That might be coming off the steroids? I have been determined to eat much better, so that might have something to do with it. I have not had any dairy in two days. I don't intend for that to be a "forever" thing, just a reset. I was eating 3-4+ ounces of cheese a day, and other dairy on top of that. A reset would be good.

    Have a great day!

    Mornin' gents.

14 degrees with wind chill of -1. Spring in New England.

Yep, steroids cause water weight gain from sodium retention. Glad you are off the 'roids, but not glad you haven't got the pain under control. Tai Chi has always looked like Kung Fu in slo-mo to me. Seems it is a lot like Yoga insomuch as holding the positions and slow and controlled movements.

Actually did some yoga stretches this am along with rolling before getting on stationary bike.

    I eat too much cheese.

    Be OP ;-)

    Good morning gentlemen.

10 degrees! It's cold, here in Tumwater, but not that cold. At least we are dry for the next few days. The daffodils are blooming.

I have a good balance on dairy, I think, and have almost eliminated sweets and chips. That alone has me on a very slow, but steady decrease in weight. We have been walking every day, too - sometimes twice.

    Good Morning

Spring has retreated here as well. Cloudy, minor rain and midday temps in the 50's which is a bit chilly for us. Sweatshirt & hat weather. We enjoyed some time along the Bay in Martinez despite the clouds and breeze as we walked out one of the piers to look at the Marina and shipping Channel before going in search of lunch. I do like our weekend outings, even if our activity level is somewhat reduced currently. A quiet day ahead while I try to get a few things done without aggravating things. Been on Tylenol ER for Arthritis 24/7 for 3 days. Ready to ease off now.

I have an image of Lee the vet armed with a coid vaccine needle now. I know army/air force etc vets (veterans) in the reserves are giving the lion shares of thre early shots around here. Do you have to whimper like a dog to get a veterinarian to shoot ya???
Yeah Mike it seems cold here too. In the 20s today and the next couple of days for lo temps.

I should buy stock in NSAIDS like aleve, tylenol and the like with all you buys in pain.
I feel blessed that my knee swelling that went down taking aleve (naproxen) stayed down with grating tumeric daily and adding it to my omelet with generous black pepper.

I am sure there is a responsible company out there that makes dosed tumeric (curcumin) and black pepper (piperine) but just haven't researched it out. I use about 15 grams of finely minced tumeric plus maybe 1/2 teaspoon on black pepper in my veggie omelet. works for me.
